Not sure about rns being idiotic though I hope it a disclaimer put with any aim share announcement but I have my suspicion and don’t trust the innocent reasons with aim bod when they put it in details like this...when there is no immediate call for it particularly oil price is far more bullish than in the last 10 months and our free cash flow is increasing and we have a reasonable amount in the bank to start remedies of well7 to increase the output..
My fears is ? Kerogen are the CB holders and Hur main support for years, and Hur want them on board to ensure their continued support ...by giving them massive number of equity swapping some of their CB and by doing this meaning shafting the shareholders and damages our interest and holding massively.

And surely the eagles are circulating above us and I can see one descending soon ...
Sclp is vulnerable to be swallowed in full or part of it getting sold , though my preferred options are partnerships and collaboration with a bigger brother....then we will be flying high..

It is surprising that the full terms were not published at the time of issue, This smells of an institutional stitch up to me.

You are right to be concerned if you a shareholder. What rights do bondholders have in the event of a default? Are their any debt covenants? If so, what are they and how do they work? What triggers changes to the conversion ratio?
What happens in the future regarding raising finance may depend on who the bondholders are and what rights they have. In this situation it often turns out that a large equity holder is also a large and blocking bondholder. Any restructuring may end up benefitting these institutional holders at the expense of smaller equity holders, including retail holders.
It is a sad fact...
Hurricane will not release the full t&c of these bonds which is not in shareholders interest..as both should be aligned for transparency and fairness...

I agree if you only think that the current reserve stays the same even after the awaited definitive CPR but I feel the new bod gave us in the last update the worse scenario and was only estimated and that is why they commissioned this CPR and the bod are hoping too to be a better one..
Side tracking is a measure of buying time and accumulating cash in this bullish environment of higher oil price to do the rest of the plans with hopefully incoming investor putting the cash or the sp will have risen by then for a better funds raise and less dilution for shareholders....and overall Hur would have acquired some confidence by the market and stakeholders alike...
Just my thoughts ...

Yes it seems the best solution is a buyout but how you can put value without the complete CPR definitive assessment which is due by end of Q1?
Big risk for any company to buy Hur without the above...
Hur must try to do something at present to remedy the production and increase it significantly by the option of side tracking well7 and raise funds at the same time while waiting for CPR ...
The raise while they doing this will not be substantial at this stage considering the amount of cash they already are generating at the current bullish oil price. . Hur also might find an investor to put this money in instead of share dilution and this investor will be in the driving seat....
Will see but things will unfold probably with FY results..
Let’s hope the directors start buying if they believe the sp is a bargain !

After the Sept 2020 update..7 directors buys over a million share..
RT has over 28m shares and others have large numbers too and last directors sells were July 2019..
Surely the want to see success and sp rising.

I am holding but not buying a single share more until things are clearer with CPR evaluations.
I hope the directors install some confidence as tgey did in September and buy more....will see next week.

..bigger boys acquire Hur to develop all its assets.
Hur with net cash of near m90 with all possible scenarios as per RNS to increase productivity .
MCAP now is near half the cash in the bank. Bonds due July 2022 can be sorted by big pockets boys. All what is needed a bigger pocket to spend on a profitable producing oil company with many possibilities to explore to materially increasing its oil production and profits.
Why not....worth the risk for others to buy Hur at a knockdown price...
Any saviours out there looking into it and put a better end to this saga..
Holding and not sold a single share as it looks like we may have reached the bottom...and been consolidating around 2.62...2.72p

..confirming in reality the uncertainty of Hur future....though a few positives there but there is no escape from the sting in the tail of the RNS. It may well be today decline is overdone that was exaggerated by many loose holders selling with limit sell bottoms triggered and fears of the armageddon .....

I understand your feeling about RT...he is a great geologist and proved for first time in uk that oil can be extracted from fracture basement but he was singleminded and didn’t listen to others. He was not a business man and was not fit for purpose as a ceo...a dreamer !
I have looked at Hur in depth and no doubt a high risk but very high rewards too ,and at least the new team are more open minded and formed a proper independent technical committee to look at the definitive reserves and other important issues. The new ceo is a very experienced guy in fracture basement and I like to trust him for now.
Hur is not a deadbeat ....just imo

Yes but it all depends if you bought for growth and expansion at the wrong estimated reservoirs by the RT or you bought for recovery from low SP...
