It does to me as well, guaranteed net production increase and they know the assets inside out already. Only issue is do IPR want to give up a producing asset that's bringing them consistently priced, decent cash flow? My assumption would probably be no they don't unless SDX offer them a very good sum. How strapped for cash are they? That will also be a factor
Hows the french market doing? MM's having a field day today in the UK. Once this has settled this should move higher today and tomorrow. Think of the big buys at 420 etc and have confidence that French orders and US orders are on their way. 6 months at 8 million tests a month is 48 million tests. Revenue around 480 million and that's the minimum for the rest of this year plus the 90 million up till now. 570 million revenue for the year minimum and we are sitting at just over 300 million market cap. Still more to come and the smart people know it. Sit on your hands :)
I tried to ask on our company town hall (AZ) about more details on relationship with Novacyt. Question wasn’t answered when they could have done, read into that as you see fit, probably didn’t want to release anything that wasn’t in the public domain. Lab construction is on track and as I said expected to hit target of 30,000 tests a day by first week of May. What is obvious though is that the CEO wants an antibody test for employees to return to work. Possible link up with Yougene and Novacyt? However as it’s been said before, there is no evidence to suggest antibody means total immunity. All of this info is in the public domain not inside info.
Tweet is below from earlier in the month but update today is that this is still on track

Value finder admittedly the 352p at 8.09 is probably a sell but the 371 is hard to tell with its surrounding trades. Also how can you say that no one could buy in any volume around 350p? There were buys going throughout the day at £50k for 350p I was watching them as they went through! The delayed trades posted with timestamp around 18:00s is very difficult to tell with any certainty if they are buys or sells as no time to tell what the bid and ask was. Good luck all for tomorrow, could do with an RNS to stop the rot.
This delayed trade has popped up due to time and price it looks like a sell but I could be wrong

Anyway main thing is great company, in demand test , sales set to increase rapidly, waiting for next update.
Fair value at the moment I would say 28p. I would sell all my shares tomorrow for 28p but I’m in it for the longer haul, the main issues are morocco demand and Egypt resource. We are doing well at exploring more tie ins for SD but increasing demand in Morocco is painstakingly slow. To make this an excellent share I believe the BOD need to be more entrepreneurial with increasing demand such as bottling gas etc. We are in desperate need of a central Moroccan pipeline to feed into. I think it was discussed before about plans for a European pipeline to be built through Morocco?
I don't think AstraZeneca have any motives on scooping up NCYT, their main driver for the partnership is to get tests out there as soon as possible so the healthcare workers in isolation can get back to work and economies can return to normal. AZ are also keen to get tests for their own employees asap so they can also go back to work and stop working from home. So my opinion is their interests are for helping the healthcare systems around the world and also themselves to have access to tests for employees. AZ will likely benefit from COVID by increased sales of their portfolio hence why their SP is doing so well and due to recent approvals and clinical trials outcomes.
GSK on the other hand may be interested in scooping NCYT up until they develop a vaccine with Sanofi, who knows. But if you were the CEO of NCYT and had the best accuracy test and orders up to your neck, with cash piling in would you sell? Or would you just bring in the big boys in a partnership to help you out and give them some discounted tests for their employees to say thank you? Either way takeover or not the company profits will speak for themselves and the SP react accordingly.
