Interim was 0.92p. Lloyds have allude to that the dividend split is 1/3 interim, 2/3 final, of full year dividend so am expecting final dividend will be 1.84p taking the full year dividend to 2.76p.

I think If they hold the rate it will be positive for the SP. If they raise it again I think it will put pressure on the SP.

No you would not pay tax transferring to a SIPP but check with Scottish Widows if they have any exit fees for transferring out from them.

Fleccy.....agree with what you are saying about new shares being issued, but to put things into perspective, even after the issue of new shares in 2022, and 2023 to date, there was a net reduction in shares in 2022 of 3,651,731,591 , and a net reduction of shares to date in 2023 of 3,861,262,707. Total net reduction of shares to date 2022/2023 is 7,512,994,298. It's going in the right direction.

I personally would rather have a smaller buyback every year to cancel 1.1 times the new shares issued every year so as to gradually reduce the share count over time, and use the balance of money to pay a special dividend every year in addition to the progressive full year dividend.

If you are close to retirement retire early then you wont pay 50% tax on your dividend.

Barclays and Natwest both up today and they haven't paid the dividend yet, only paid tomorrow.

I reinvested my dividends as soon as I received them on Tuesday back into Lloyds at average price 42.189p. Lowest price I have paid yet for Lloyds to date, hope I haven't jumped in to early!
