Cínovec isn’t just some side project — it’s a critical asset ČEZ controls through Geomet. You can’t run an EV transition, a battery industry, or balance an SMR-powered grid without it. If you think they’d be doing all this without a clear roadmap that includes domestic lithium supply, think again. The pieces are falling into place — they’re just not shouting it from the rooftops yet. Patience. The fundamentals are stronger than ever.

Even if there was a small chance the Cínovec lithium project didn’t look profitable in the short term, the long-term strategic benefits make it an absolute no-brainer.

But my only message is Hold, some will panic sell, dont as thats what they want.

We are only a week after Trump signals interest in securing rare earth minerals globally—think Australia, Argentina, Africa—prices ''suddenly drop across the board''.

A coincidence? Or a classic & typical Wall Street play?

I posted on the EMH board also about Vulcan getting an off take agreement for the EU (Germany) this past week.

They're no further on than us, just an Li deposit.

The Cinovec project was confirmed as a Strategic Raw Materials Project by the EU, and the DFS will outline annual production of 41,658 tonnes of battery-grade lithium hydroxide.

At even a conservative price of $22,000 per tonne and operating costs around $5,000, the project could generate $700M+ in annual EBITDA with a mine life of 25 years. Based on these figures, the estimated project NPV rises to $4.2–$5.0 billion USD, implying a fair value per share of £2.20 to £2.80. Compare that to the current share price of just 15p — and the upside becomes obvious.

The market is clearly discounting the usual pre-production risks (financing, permitting, offtake), but with EU backing and massive strategic importance, Cinovec is positioned to be Europe’s largest hard-rock lithium resource — and one of its most important.

Once those final hurdles are cleared, a major re-rating is likely.

Vulcan Energy has signed a binding offtake agreement with Glencore for 36,000–44,000 tonnes of lithium hydroxide over eight years from its planned Phase One project in Germany. The deal is conditional on Vulcan securing project financing, completing construction, and producing battery-grade lithium, with delivery expected post-2028. This agreement secures about 20% of Vulcan’s projected output and strengthens its financing case, but actual production is still years away as the company has no operating facility yet.

Vulcan now claims to have fully allocated its Phase One output with offtakes. That removes Glencore’s optionality for Phase 1 and forces them (and peers) to look elsewhere.

EMH’s Cinovec is thee most credible large European deposit forecasted to reach production.

Why offtake after the DFS makes strategic sense: -Post-DFS = lower risk for buyers

A DFS will validate:

Capex/Opex, Product quality (pilot-scale testing), Engineering viability, Timeline estimates

That’s the point where a Tier 1 OEM or trader can: Lock in a supply position, Help with project financing, Possibly negotiate convertible debt, equity, or prepayment terms.
