From a gross margin of more than 50%, we can comfortably get to net operating margin of 10%. Next, for example, operates at around 18% net operating margin although it's a very different business model.
Very roughly, we can generate £100m net operating income for every £1,000m of sales. On annual revenue of £1.7bn that would be £170m net operating income. On a very conservative p/e of 10 we would have an enterprise value of £1.7bn. Roughly an SP of 120p.
Then, if sales growth turns positive, we will head higher still both because of the absolute value of operating income rising and due to multiple expansion (higher p/e) to reflect better growth prospects.
I think 250 by end-Dec 2024 is possible if sustainably hitting 10% net operating margin and resumption of meaningful sales growth.

If the cycle has turned as the update from ASOS indicates, we are in an incredibly strong position.
Feeling very excited about Boohoo again.
Who says we can't hit 400 again over the medium term?

ASOS results and cashflow forecast were encouraging and it was no surprise the shares rose sharply.
However, the read-across for Boohoo could not be more encouraging. Our gross margins remain over 50%, much bigger than ASOS and as green shoots emerge, our balance sheet is virtually debt free and robust.
My timing may be off but my prediction will come true. You are looking at a 10-bagger folks. A big, juicy 10-bagger...

I have a huge amount of respect for you but I dont feel Godders leaving the board is a good outcome. He has been a substantial shareholder for a long, long time and I, for one, think it's a great shame to see him go.
Godders - please do return under a different alias. I hope you recover your money, too.

Although my opinion is not worth much, I don't think you've done anything wrong. OK your posts may be a tad repetitive and whiny but any rational person would agree with your basic position that Sam and the board have been totally useless over many, many years.
So keep posting. There's no need to hide. I am hopeful that SL will be developed now because I have every faith in Navitas and Gideon. I hope you make all your money back and then some.

There's a life beyond this BB that you're missing out on. Your obsession will Boohoo is harmful to your mental health. And I don't mean that to be derogatory. Your behaviour is simply not normal or healthy.

Boohoo has outstanding customer service, which I hope they never compromise on.

Bitcoin and gold being chased up today.
Maybe we will be finally be mining our own black gold. Can't think of a better place to 10-bag.
Quite exciting and thanks for all excellent info and analysis being posted. Very instructive.

Or put it another way, if we rise 100% from the current price, we will only be at closing market cap on the day the SL discovery was first announced.
It's almost unbelievable!

On 6 May 2010, the day RKH first announced the SL discovery, shares closed at 93.5p. There were roughly 174m shares in issue.
Discovery day closing market cap was £163m. That was when the discovery was unappraised, they had no funding for appraisal, SL had not been well-tested and there were a plethora of other potential banana skins.
Today, 14 years later, after full appraisal, well testing, farmout and a further campaign that discovered Isobel, market cap is still 50% less than 1st discovery.
Isn't that just crazy? Course I may be totally wrong but this is so cheap it hurts even thinking about it

Interesting wording on the Company continuing to develop its turnaround plan - almost if preparing the way for what is to come. Someone getting cold feet? Was Dunkerton ever serious or is it the desperate flailing of a man whose delusions of grandeur have been horribly and consistently exposed?

Net debt last time was Euro 8bn. There's no point looking at gross debt. You need to net off cash and cash equivalents on balance sheet.

The bidder is PDD Holdings, parent of Temu. They want to buy Boohoo to advance their competitive war with Shein.
