Excellent post Jack D.....as a general observation, in the main, the content of posts on here is insightful and factual, although we do have the odd post from idiots and they know who they are.....have been here for over a year and although it has been a long time coming the plan is coming together had hopefully our dynamic duo's business model will soon prove itself.
Pretty sure that Chis Oil was in early (9p -11p) so still de-risking but making 60-80% profit...wouldnt you? Also would'nt be surprised if Neil Woodfords funds had a big toe dipped in here and we have been caught up in their fire sale, plus shell or conoco could be shorting for a while and then slowly stake building next month or two..patience people.
Fantastic results, I am in both RBD and UJO.....I think the muted rise is pretty typical of a big oil/gas find after the initial spike, thoughts must now go on how this major resource is moved forward (as is the case with UKOG), definitely UJO and not so much RBD will need money either by farm out or by a large placing.....lets hope its the former!
No expert knowledge of the drill but, if the experience of geology and operational oil company funding that the recent
appointees have added to RDB board room plus the fact M&G happy to invest 3 mill (which they would have completed lengthy due diligence)..... I think most of us who have invested a few bob in RDB will place more trust
in their decision making rather than the half baked opinion some half witted poster on a BB.
Thanks for such a concise explanation of what seems a complex RNS - exciting times, recurring revenues with the retained stake and a 9% bonus.... Potential for other spin offs and acquisitions is enormous - if they can get this right and am sure they can - we could have a mini Berkshire Hathaway of the device/bio-medical market on our hands.......... Thanks again and have a good weekend.
Have a good weekend Duck and thanks again
Thanks for the initial feedback - look forward to your further considerations sometime next week - have a good weekend!
Hello Duck, I read your posts with interest, you have a good understanding of the company, I invested back in April and as the share price has risen have a healthy 20% profit. It is at this point I usually sell and re-invest in another prospect.
Today's published RNS has made me pause - what are your thoughts on the proposal?
Its true that I do enjoy a afternoon snooze... the SP did has hit 2.5 for several days in mid July but then the selling of placing shares then has sent it sub 2p for the last 4/5 weeks. Agree with you that a MM will be acting on behalf of II
with a brief on a target sell price and also agree with the news we are all hoping for will and the increased T/O will lessen the effect.
Millions of our placing shares at 2p are out there with various institutions - this has been the first day they have been able to sell for a half decent profit - so expect more to come... look what has happened to Angus Energy with Bergen.
UKOG should not suffer as much because of larger turnover of shares
MMs obliged to put big sell/buy orders through but timing sometimes delayed 'to maintain an orderly and liquid market'.
Russell Is that because of the 250,000 sell - looks like a Bergen - Bergen would have contracted 1 or 2 of our MMs to sell through - the other 3 of our MMs will be aware of that so they will all know exactly how many shares are left - must be end nearly game as they are selling shares they took at 7.60 for 8.90..... nice turn.
Angus market makers playing a game of poker with Bergen - MMs going win because they know exactly how many shares Bergen have left and they know its stopping the inevitable rise... where they will make more money selling those ex Bergen shares at a tidy profit... sit back, cup of tea and a biscuit, relax.
