Dividends attract a 35% witholding tax and a shocker when you didn't know and were expecting a certain amount coming in, for a future trade.

Good advice to those still working, shame they dropped it from 5 to 2k
Ofcourse, if you have no weekly income from a job, it doesn't apply and falls well within your personal allowances.

If you work for a living, sadly you don't get a choice, it's part and parcel.
Whey they get rid of money, all those who've bypassed the system will begin paying their share and hopefully you'll benefit in a cut on what you pay.

Nobody minds paying taxes as it's a given but it's the way it's dalled out that seems to upset those earning it, the most.
Good luck to anybody who can make it in life and become super rich because others will have benefited from them getting there.

Fair play and I'm uneducated myself but I'm so thankful I went through the really tough times and took notice of those who'd been through even worse.
60 years old, still live the right way, help other's, show kindness and good manners to all I meet.

My position has always remained the same, hard graft never killed anyone, 50 -70 hours a week for over 40 year's on low money and don't you think we've all had to make even bigger sacrifices than yourself? Some made the ultimate with their lives.
You need to think again about your own position and enjoy all the graces you've been given and all thanks to those who have gone before.
