Just bought in to this share for the first time this morning. Feel like it was a slight fomo after seeing a sharp rise this morning.
Been reading and watching on the side for a few weeks and should have come in at 7.05 but happy to be in for 13270 shares at 7.498 considering the potential upside here in the short term.
Hopefully the knowledge shown on this board will prove a good buy for myself. Thanks for the ones who give up their knowledge so freely.
I was of the opinion the company should take the option of the buy back. However in reality, as previously said by lindon, after thinking about it the bushveld would be better served spending the money on improvements for the company through infrastructure and plant etc.
The only purpose a buyback would serve right now would be to inflict pain on the people who feel the need to make a quick buck shorting bmn. It would be sweet to watch them get burned but long term we won't even remember the short existed. If you believe in the fundamentals here does the share price now and over the next couple months really matter?
Sit back, wait for the RNS's to flow with good news and watch them get burned anyway of they hold on to their positions that long. BMN won't be going anywhere but up.
Cheers
Nice voltmeter. I only diacovered the share by chance and read up on it. Luckily last year I had been researching our company changing to a DSO and what that entails as part as revision for a promotion interview. It was the move towards a DSO and then the benefits of the VFRBs that made me so thankful I had stumbled across bushveld and I immediately invested and now have my parents and workmate on board.
Just need to find out if our innovations team are looking into it now as previously mentioned. If their not they will be. The previous trial they did with a lithium battery finished with multiple downsides in the report and didn't seem to go too well. I am sure we are on the right tech here we just need a few bigger company's to see it and watch it spread.
I'm here long haul regardless as only in at a average of about 28p so will hold for at least 3-5 years. If only I had found this a few years ago like some of the big bag holders here.
Didn't even think of switchgear be sorry. I don't mind the eclipse stuff. Only operated it but even then not loads. Mostly operate switching in distribution subs and not so much primary. You work for WPD?
Sorry voltmeter, I don't know what your referring too? Company's I presume?
Thanks alpha. The more vfrb players in the market the better. I have been meaning to get in touch with a friend who came through my apprenticeship with me and was in my local office until recently. He has moved on now into our innovations team. This team was set up to help as we transition from being a DNO to a Distribution System Operator over the coming years.
WPD has been undertaking trials for various projects over the last couple of years aiming at the renewable energy shift and have trailed battery storage. The most recent in collaboration with Tesla again.
I must message him and ask if we have looked into VRFB at all and if not why not. Maybe he can get the ball rolling for WPD to be a leader in introducing VRFBs into the network....
Skim reading through the BB this morning it seems that lithium is still the only word used when people discuss battery storage. I also notice RedT don't seem to be in such good shape. We need people like RedT to be more active in getting the VRFB message out and showing proof of the battery techs advantages over lithium don't we? It wouldn't be good to see a VRFB supplier go down the pan.
The UK in general seems fixed on lithium. I work for one of the country's electricity DNO's and all I have seen or heard so far is lithium and Tesla.
Hi guys,
Another first time poster here. Been reading your wealth of knowledge for a few months now and been buying bits here and there. Could youc add my small sum of 10222 to the spreadsheet please. I also have a friend with approx 3k shares and my father with just under 7.9k shares. Glad to see so many forum posters hold such a huge % in bmn.
Long and strong on this one.
Thanks
