RE: FT Full Text 28 Jul 2020 11:19
That article was totally biased against burford, there was no mention of berenbergs price target of £8.10p or Liberiums target of £26.00 and made in 2020 , or the need for litigation funding in Law, something that is revolutionizing litigation funding, it was a complete Ft MW hand in hand attack on burford, with no regard to the truth and potential of burford at all. That made that Ft article a extremely badly written piece of work , I've seen much higher standards of work by most of the Ft journalist, it was something that belongs to a very poorly funded tabloid, not the Ft,
The Ft normally sticks to the facts, that article paid very little regard to any balanced facts at all, it was actually garbage journalism at its worst. I was so disappointed at how unprofessional the journalists was in giving a fair balanced account of burford.
Judge Preska will deliver her way forward later this afternoon or evening, if she sides with burford then Argentina will obviously appeal, delay being there only defence so far, if she sides with Argentina then Argentina get still get there delay but even longer, or could it be a compromise with just a few months of new fact finding measures, either way this case is won by burford bar any pay out by Argentina. How can they simply compensate REPSOL with $5 billion and then completely ignore the other shareholders, even a judge can see the complete disregard to fairness and a signed compensatory payback clause when YPF sold its shares to American and international investors. The Ft made no mention of that disgraceful disregard to international Law ,
I totally agree with TWT with all his Q&A in his post, it's so sad when ordinary investors have to do the job of paid Ft journalist.
The one thing I've took from that journalists is that they were very seriously biased towards burfords huge potential, it was trash journalism at its worst, you would nearly think they bought at £18 and sold at £2.50p and now has a grudge.
I also think we should never get caught up in one high profile case, as it may put some investors on a roller coaster ride LOL.
burford have already made this case pay them with profits of hundreds of millions of dollars, so anything else is simply a big very welcome bonus.
Cheers everyone.
