A great rebound from Fridays lows, though I was expecting a eventual powering ahead before our USA listing, nobody really knows for sure if our shares will fly in our USA listing, the great thing I absolutely love about Burford is that it’s reasonable to expect it’s future earnings to more than pay for a reasonable share price of more than £8/£9 but with the very real potential to win settlements way beyond ordinary share holders expectations, and with that potential we really should command a premium to our much smaller peers. I suspect even nearing the expectation of a win of our petersen YPF Argentina case could deliver that substantial premium.

The next few months should be very rewarding .

Argentina’s only real defence was all about delaying the lawsuit, the longer they delay the bigger the monetary savings for them, the monetary delaying savings is very substantial , they were always going to try everything possible to delay this case, even if it caused Burford to appeal to the courts and judge preska, most of the time these delaying tactics are expected by the two litigants, so it’s mostly a big legal game to all parties , slowing up the whole legal process, judge preska will see it for what it is !, more time wasting to save Argentina money.

The great thing about these tactics is that it shows us who’s against the ropes and expecting to loose there case, Burford actually can’t wait to get into any courtroom with it’s own discoveries of billions of settlement figures. That set of discoveries will definitely concern Argentina’s paymasters. It could easily be $3/4/6+ ++ billion dollars .

Argentina has to do what it has to do to delay this case , but in the end it bill pay dearly for its stealing of foreign investors money.

There’s so much to look for to here, what a exciting share to hold , roll on the 19 October and then eventually judgement day .

FFC the reason plenty of companies over pay is because they get into a biding war, I know I've been in plenty in my time,

I once bought a share at 8p sold at 12p after a excellent bid , and a few weeks later a biding war broke out and the company sold out for 44p, that still makes me feel ill, LOL.

I'm also sticking with the AIM , I've held shares on the AIM before that were listed on the American market, they mostly mirrored each other, there was only one occasion they differed by around 10% but that changed within a hour or so, because you have to notice and then convert the currencies, if your quick you could capitalise on it.
The American market will mainly lead and we will dutifully follow, that's the way most of the stockmarkets work, follow the USA market up and down,

Our share price in 12 months ? YES around £100 + that's just to keep ffc happy LOL, being reasonable about it , maybe £12 to £16, though should the American market get carried away with a nearly guaranteed YPF + our other Argentina LAWSUIT win and payment, then £18 to £24+ we must factor in absolutely huge savings on funding money , with a nearly guaranteed billion dollar bond raising exercising after our YPF wins, I'm convinced we still might want and use that sovereign wealth fund money as the workloads in the coming years should be substantially higher than ever before, the amount of work we turn away is also very substantial, I think around 93% we turn away, please correct me if I'm wrong on that one, so there must be a huge opportunity there to go through that lot again to find more winners, we loose around 10% of our cases, surly there's room there to take more cases on and reasonably loose and win more cases , and maybe increase the losses to 15% 20% and still pay us considering we can get cheaper money from New bond holders and only paying them 6% to 7 % interest on there money, the sovereign wealth fund was getting around 30% interest because we couldn't raise billion from bond holders, so I'm very excited about the prospect of raising billions from American bond holders looking to get any interest on there money,

If I didn't hold burfords shares, then I would definitely be happy holding it's bonds , when bond buyers see our YPF and other case wins, and over a decade of successful trading they will inundate burford to buy it's bonds,
It's all to look forward to, I'm extremely confident and happy to watch burford climb up to a multi billion dollar titan and being the world's biggest and best litigation funder, and also driving it's share price up after the American share buying big institutions who are duty bound to buy certain or large amounts of every billion dollar company's shares listed in America.

Trust me if any reasonable offer came in for Burford the vast majority of Burfords investors would bite the hands of them for a £12 £16 £18 offer, who knows yet what a fair offer would be.
I’ve had many of my share holdings taken out with good offers, never say no to a reasonable offer, some / most companies never ever get any offers at all,

They say never ever have a emotional relationship with any company or share, because it definitely doesn’t have one with you, buy it, hold it, sell it, take a fair recommended price for your shares if offered, and move on to the next share opportunity , there’s always more opportunities out there if you look hard enough.

Jane that article was very well researched and written, the reporter / journalists understood exactly
what they were writing about, and as you said perfectly correlated Burfords in-house statements with other factual outside news/ law cases. The Financial Times seems biased towards Burford, that seems a little sinister to me, it’s like a personal vendetta against Burford. everything looks fantastic for Burford now , all we need is for the share price to properly reflect our earnings and substantial potential.

It's those kinds of write -ups that should have the American institutions and private investors chasing Burfords shares much higher, you never know a big American hedge fund just might want burford all to itself , think about it, they take over the sovereign wealth fund funding money , and with that profit pay for the interest payments on a multi billion dollar bid for burford. I’m very confident Burford will easily surpass your £8 .37p average price, I’m expecting Burford to surpass that price and even revisit its highs of past years,

Why ? Because it’s a fantastic money making machine, it will make hundreds of $£ millions per year for the rest of our lives,
How? Because these big massive legal disputes have always been around for decades , and they will continue to be generated as long as there are companies and humans, that means Buford is actually needed by these big law firms and companies, Burford will continue to make countless millions, that’s why our share price and valuation will catch up with this solid business model,

This YPF case will open the eyes to American and every investor to it’s true potential, as our BOD stated in that investors presentation, these types of cases will always come up every year, it’s just that we won’t be told about them, we supply the funding

ffc it's about offering the legal system / Lawyers near instant funding for medical negligence cases and taking the 12 months wait out of the governments legal aid system, also ordinary good solid straight forward cases that any lawyer knows win,
It's about helping the unfortunate not preying on the unfortunate as you state, it's about helping lawyers get near instant funding to help the sick and quite often underprivileged in society, quite often law practices struggle with funding , even though they have good cases on there books.
The reason I think it's a good idea is that it would bring in a steady income stream to stabilise our income going forward, we should never turn away any money making idea's in the legal system, it's just plain stupid, it's easier just taking the bigger
Corporate case's ok, it's harder work setting up a system and funding thousands of lawyers offices, but it can be done , take profits from everywhere if we can, and build up a worldwide network of income streams. Think big and " small. " that way our income in the long run will have steady pattern. The expert day traders will take advantage of Burfords huge rise today and try to take out as many small investors buys and stop losses as they can, driving the price downwards before a return to around or over £7 again, we’ve all seen it before, it hit. £ 7.50p today, the share price has until the 19th October to get near £8+ in my opinion, maybe even much higher depending on the feedback from the market and tabloids, now will the Financial Times now give us some fair comments around getting a clean bill of health from the American SEC ? and upcoming USA listing .
The American market will give us a fair price for our Burford shares and the AIM market will keep pace with there price.

Also when we list on the American market there's a awful lot of buyers that have to buy our companies shares as part of there share purchasing system / institutions, the multitude of ETF exchange traded funds , they all have a requirement to hold
X amount of burfords shares, we then have private investors and we've all probably seen them chasing the American market up lately,, So I'm expecting a much higher burford share price on and after the 19th of October, it's going to be a fantastic year end and magical Xmas for burfords shareholders.

Forensic505 yes I agree with your analysis, manolete is a excellent company with a great business model, though with a deserving PE premium , though it was much higher, any more weakness there could see us snap up It's expertise with a share offer at the right price, bar any competition concerns,
Burford could very easily and as they've already indicated reduce the amount of money they pay for there litigation financing,
They could issue much bigger bonds paying less interest than 7% , the more burford builds on its profits and balance sheet the cheaper the money raising, they are paying the sovereign wealth fund and others way more than 7%, so the scope to save substantial amounts of money is there ok, and the American capital markets can help us there.

In my opinion the slowing down of business during the pandemic won't be felt for a few years if at all due to the YPF case results, and the increasing of our profits due to large saving on our financing and funding needs, the loss of business now will also be offset by the substantial increases in business/ workload coming from the pandemic, this could be a tsunami of litigation case's coming, meaning substantial increases in funding at a cheaper price and resulting in much higher profits in the coming years ahead. If the share price was £12+ by Xmas I genuinely wouldn't be surprised at all,
When we win this YPF CASE the attention and admiration we will get from American investors and institutions should secure our standing and give us a very high speculative premium ,

Forensic505 burford could easily open up at those prices on the American market ok. throw in the YPF CASE and who knows how high they might climb, they did go to around £18 several years ago I believe. A unique company with a commanding position should deserve a premium price.

I'm desperately hoping uk investors can get our share price up to a reasonable level to avoid the American market from getting our shares to cheaply, though it's looking like they won't by the second looking at our share price, we're all cleared by the American authorities to list, our profits are fantastic and getting better with the perceived increased workload coming our way, the YPF CASE will settle for a huge amount of money, what's not to like about burford right now, a now nearing complete return of confidence with burford will insure a return to a multi billion pound /dollar valuation and share price.
