I bought more bitcoin today using the app, I am sure along with many others. Trading volumes increase during the corrections, good for Mode. Although I see crypto as a side show to the potential of the payment app. JR mentioned internal testing prior to launch, so we should get an update when successful testing complete.
‘Transacting in cryptocurrency as their main activity’. This won’t affect mode merchants as they will still be accepting fiat payment.
I think the ability to earn Bitcoin back without ever having to actually invest in crypto will actually appeal to many shoppers.
Thanks. One think I don’t understand is how the association with WeChat Pay and Alipay generates revenue. Do they split the 0.5% charge for purchases?
This suggests they already have companies that they help to accept Alipay and WeChat Pay. Positive feedback from Century 21, one of the world’s largest estate agents.
Is the seller out of ammo? Feels like they have taken a day off or are out.
I seem to remember an interview where JR stated that FTSE100 companies were already onboard the payment app. I think companies like Entain and FLTR would be massive deals. Huge potential here.
Given the bitcoin features of the app I would have expected a more resolute shareholder base with a buy and hold, BTFD mentality. Seems not so.
This is like a Christmas pantomime. Villains, clowns, the whole shebang.
Buy every 4 hours for the next 40 days. That should work.
Recently bought in here, 100000 shares. Not good so far but I like getting in SP is on the floor. Hopefully no trap door below.
Junior explorers re-rating all over the place.
This must be one of the most undervalued, with very nice assets. Now management taking options in lieu of salary, suggests our turn isnt far away. Completely off the radar yet volume has picked up in recent weeks, some savvy accumulation going on.
Presentation last week stated around £700k I think. A raise would therefore indeed be likely except if you read the last few RNS, they talk about ‘asset realisation’ to fund Cameroon exploration and options instead of salaries for 3 months, as they don’t want to raise in the current crap market. Some believe they are teeing up for a big asset sale. We’ll see.
Management doing everything right but no real market interest so far. When the market finally catches on this will bag x 2 or 3. Then some. Todays deal worth in excess of market cap and its not anywhere near the largest asset they own.
