I have seen NO decent quality information...zip/NADA)

Some might recall that we had several long lead items on order...

Yes...the clue is in the name...’long lead’

I firmly believe that:

1) Management is not going to put out DRILLING schedules until we have FIRM dates for delivery of those items

2) We will have news out soon re timings...

Anyone who thinks these guys are sitting on their bottoms needs to get out more

Major problem with the very old Wheelhorse 420LSE

The PTO bearings blew out in spectacular way...
and getting decent parts from US ...for a machine that I bought new in 1986... is FAR from easy
Ho hum

I have a large holding here...
whilst comparisons would be odious, I can confirm it is good 7 figures

Why mention that?
Well, I am spending my time trying to fix my Wheelhorse and driving my cars/enjoying my Family
content in the knowledge that my own interests are pretty much aligned with those running PRD

I know that Paul and Lonny each have share options more numerous than my holding
and of course PG has a very significant direct equity stake on top of the Options

This journey has taken no time at all since the award of the licences

Whilst the follwoing comparison is not correct in a lithological sense, it is illustrative of a much bigger point:

As far as I am aware, the mighty Ghawar
(of course, the very foundation of the immense wealth of Saudi Arabia ...one has to suspend belief/experience it to believe it)
it took 11 years to discover/appraise...in fact such work still continues to this day

The exploration guys there originally thought they had made separate discoveries
and it took quite a time for them to realise it was a super monster...in fact THE super monster

I know 'a bit' re Saudi (see on my twitter account )

Is Guercif going to be as big as Ghawar?

The odds are against that of course
but I firmly believe that, drilled in the CORRECT LOCATIONS, it is likely to put Moroccan hydrocarbons firmly on the World hydrocarbons map

Of course much exploration work had already been carried out PRIOR to PRD signing the licences...
so the quality and weight of data - knowledge are both astounding )

And yes I did call every SOUND drill correctly...both Morocco and Italy...
among many others

might signify either/or a reduction in my shareholding or my confidence in management

The answer to both questions is the same

'if you think that, you must have taken leave of your senses'

Always useful on the BB to check out track records

as some might know:

the Shaikan licence is 281 sq kms
it is one of the biggest oil discoveries of the last 25 years

No...it would be wrong to simply scale up 7000+/281

as Guercif is not homogenous

But when you look at the Messinian Salinity Crisis and the uplift and depositional characteristics of the licences, one could be for becoming excited

and yes I regard my (then) Shaikan excitement levels

as mere training for THIS!

It is that VERY point that I tried to highlight in my Tear them Up post the other day

IE folk are looking at CHAR and getting excited...fair enough

but when looking at E&D outfits, one needs to consider the level of possible asset % reduction (whether at asset/farm out level or parent equity level) relative to the current equity value (NOT EV!!)

PRD needs a staggeringly small amount to release huge value

CHAR needs multiples of its current equity value...IMO

As you very correctly point out...
the % asset value reduction might well be even less for PRD ...
if priced off a post-MOU1 well test

The route to market for PRD is SO short

that real income is also easily in sight...#bootstrapping# is always good to see

I am pretty sure I can think of several Moroccan companies who are very keen to secure supplies...

Even more so after the SDX 'issues' as referenced in their RNS and my previous posts

I once used the expression 'Shock and Awe' re GKP on its way to over 100 bags

but I feel that moment coming on
