New DTR5 guidance issued this year Alpha.. Typical FSA though they issue guidance and papers which are never clear, instead of one clear paper. I work in the finance industry and we are having to link in with the Issuer companies to ensure our shareholder TR1 info matches up with theirs.
There have been alot of posts about large holders selling down and that being the reason for the share price stalling in the last few weeks. Disclosure rules determine that any changes above or below 3%, 4%, 5% etc have to be notified to the market and FCA via a TR1. Disclosure rules have since Brexit amended and they are from March 21st to be submitted via a new portal that has been set up by the FCA. There is a responsibility on both the Shareholder and the Issuer to submit TR1s when a one of the thresholds is breached (up or down).
Have we had such notifications via RNS? if not then there have been no such sales of large holdings or Argo and the shareholders will be in big trouble. Issuing TR1s is not something you do if you feel like it.
Can't believe the share price, I thought I got a good price this morning. Seriously how can the share price drop so much in a couple of days for no other reason than the Alt coins have fallen 5 to 10%. Madness. Well I am playing the long game so no worries.
Well it all looks good to me and the dip has given me a nice opportunity to buy a few more. £12k bought across 3 trades this morning, fair play to HL, I put a fill or kill order in at the quoted BUY price and they traded me in at 9p and 7p lower.
Looking for this to be 2x to3x within 12 months. Cheers all and good luck to us !!
Alot of people are blaming the market makers... 'we are being held down' or 'shares are being held back for X, Y or Z reasons'. In my opinion the reason for our trading patterns are quite simple... we are predominently based on the LSE, with a smaller share class on the OTC. London institutions and UK investors still prefer to look at Oil, Insurance and banking stocks as they see them as safe and dividend paying. The Nasdaq however is all about technology and potential growth and as such shares like this quickly increase with large PE ratios. That is why the FTSE has stagnated at 6 to 7,000 for years whilst the Nasdaq reaches New all time highs every year.
Bottom line is we are listed on the wrong exchange and the sooner we get on the Nasdaq the sooner we get fair value compared to our US counterpart companies. The OTC listing is not big enough to be in complete control over the LSE, it will influence it but not determine it.
What do you mean 'selling on to their mates in the US at a premium?
How exactly do you think they do this ? The shares in the US are quite simply a different share class, they don't move from the US exchange to London or vice versa. The yanks can buy the LSE shares by having a broker that allows them to buy LSE shares just like we can buy shares on the Dow Jones. That's it.
Can someone let hervethenerve know so that he can contact MS to advise them of the Regulatory changes and KYC requirements that are going 5o be imposed and basically how BTC is in for a hard time. Oh and can you tell him to give the various other institutions who are developing software to accommodate BTC into their payment systems. Oh and let those setting crypto ETFs up...
