Just listened to the interview.

Roland said again that the target for verical and horizontal wells was 2 and 4 mmscfd. How then can the end of year target only be 4 to 6 mmscfd ?

Even allowing for some decline the two vertical, one horizontal plus workovers would surely be closer to the 8 mmscfd which is what he said as recently as October in the Investor Meet. Of course exact predictions are impossible but it's a bit of a gulf between 8 mmscfd and potentially half of that.

DP. If that's the case why in October did he say 8 mmscfd. Also given the targets for vertical and horizontal wells are 2 and 4 mmscfd does that imply the three new wells wont be up and running by year end or are those targets no longer valid ?

Yes the new wells are make or break for Syn. Hopefully the workovers will be sufficiently productive to tide us over until we get there.

Of course the lack of success could be because prospective buyers don't like what's on offer ?

According to Roland, Syn did promotional road shows with Panmure but with minimal success.

Sprint. Yes they modified it later. Of course they never give a time scale. Maybe they meant 20 years ? Lol.

DP. Turned out you could access it for a fee via Research Tree but only after satisfying certain conditions. Basically you had to pretend to be a professional investor.

So they've sacked Panmure. Wonder if the new lot will conjure up an outrageous target ?

Agreed K. The point I was making was that Syn and Panmure have made presentations to potential Institutional Investors with little success. The fact that they can't convince people, who presumably are more knowledgeable than us, has to be a concern.

K. Panmure were brought on board 18 months ago to attract Institutional investors.

They have been unsuccessful in this which implies

that professional investors are unconvinced about the future success of the company. We just need to hope they are wrong about that.

That's fair enough. Personally, I don't see the workovers giving a huge boost. On the other hand doubt it will go much lower. Hopefully the new wells will give usca rerate by the summer.
