Yes Crusty. Even though the workovers have little bearing on the new wells their failures will still affect perceptions of the whole work programme.

At least my Lloyd's shares are doing well at long long last. Up 5% today.

It's only crazy Ssccss if you are convinced that the new wells are going to be successful. Obviously, we all hope they are but the market doesn't believe they will be. Hopefully we will know for sure in a few months.

Just think, in his interview just after the jv rns, Roland was baffled that the sp was only about 0.15.

Hi DP. Been checking through my records and yes you are partly right. I could have got out in February 2024 for a profit but only a modest one.

At that time I had 20 million shares which had cost £26,800 (average 0.134). On the day of the jv announcement on 14th February I could have sold for about 0.16 and made about £5k and maybe a bit more at the slightly earlier spike. TBH never really considered selling. We were all pretty shocked that it didn't go much higher. This was when, shortly after, we were told GOI approval in a matter of weeks and expected the WP to commence in pretty short order. It seemed the only way was up. As I said I could have just about broke even in the summer but again say no reason to do so. Now seems like a huge mistake but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Averaged down to 0.108 in December and now to 0.092. Only time will tell if that is another big mistake.

Hi DP. Our walking in Sussex today. Will respond tomorrow. I presume the two spikes you cite are the one on the day of the jv announcement when it very briefly hit 0.16 and one on the run up to the jv just before which was I think, about 0.18?

TBF. I was fairly close to break even about last July when I had 20 million at average 0.134 when the sp got close to that but certainly not a profit. At that time it felt like the work programme was about to kick off and the only way was up.

DP. Your numbers make no sense. I have never been in a position to take a profit and certainly not recently.

Prior to topping up last week I had 30 million shares which had cost me £32,400 (average 0.108). The sell price was around 0.042 so if I had sold I would have got around £12,600.

I now have 40 million which cost me £36,800 (average 0.092). If I sold I would get around £14,400.

Impossible to be confident that there will be no more raises. Why today's sudden drop?

DP. As Span said I should probably have stayed out when I got out with s modest profit 4 years ago. It was 10 years ago last month that I first bought Oilex at 2.5 p. By early 2021 my average was 0.32 but the sp was around 0.07. Then against

profit. Should have left it at that but when it dropped to the mid 0.2's couldn't resist getting back in again. Then Roland arrived and it seemed all was rosy. Big mistake. Nothing but a catalogue of delays, false steps and raises. Every time I thought it couldn't go lower it did. Just naive I guess. Anyway the consequence is I now have 40 shares at an average of 0.092. Possible I could still get out with a profit or just get my money back but nothing is certain. At my age I just want it done with.

TBH, I guessed what scalping meant but don't see how that would be possible with this stock other than by luck. You'd have to buy and be sure it would go up. Virtually every time I bought it went down.

I almost no experience of AIM other than this stock. Atb.

BTW . What recent highs? The direction been pretty much one way for the last year.

DP. I have never sold any since I got back in in 2021. I have just averaged down. Every time I have done so I have hoped it was the bottom. Wrong every time. I have often been pessimistic but never been sensible enough to sell at a loss.

For example when it spiked to 0.16 ish at the time of the jv my average was about 0.23.

No idea what scalper means.
