Here we go, another smart guy/gal who thinks they've called a bum steer correctly. Why don't you take a look at any FTSE stock and observe that shares go up and they go down - and repeat. I cant believe there are still non-believers who can't see a steady income stream and growth up to full efficiency once the mine is up and running. Whats not to like apart from a bit of a wait and a bit of finance. All will be sorted and time will deliver results. Keep the faith I say....

Wasn't over keen on the attempt to bury the bad news either. How does the market analyse the effect of good and bad news so quickly on HCM worth? Beats me, but suspect the SP will bounce today when the true calculations are made by those who know.
Trend still upwards for now. Another buying opportunity Davey.

When i invested here in 2017 - it was a bit of a punt to be honest. I did research for some time and decided to go for it but only as a small part of portfolio. I'm glad I did and do get some great satisfaction when RNSs come good. Thanks to all posters who help keep the knowledge and opinions active on this board. Good times coming hopefully.

I would imagine that the the SP will do what it will do based on news. Any rise might not be a series of tiny little steps but more of a huge uplift, followed by giants causeway style jumps for the next 3 or 4 months. So when I woke up the following day....like many of us dreamers... its disappointing that the news takes so long. Alas its the nature of speculative investing and very interesting to be part of it. Damned frustrating but exciting. We will all be smiling one day, except maybe a few naysayers. As always, only invest what one can afford to lose and sleep well.

A long time ago there was gold in them there hills and lots o ppl got sucked in . A tiny percent made money. Most either died or went home broke when things didn't work out right. Done my research but the net result is its an oil explorer and its a roulette wheel basically and lady luck will decide. DW is the guy who spins the wheel. (Croupier?) I wonder if one day that.... like a Puppet on a string...

I am an engineer who actually completed a fluid dynamics course at uni, albeit 35 years ago. I am now an amateur investor who knows very little about oil exploration. This share is a risky share and no one should ever doubt that. However, the potential upside is why we are all here. If anyone cares to dump their shares at the slightest hint that 25% of our projects have not yet hit the sweet spot then I would ask why did they invest in the first place? This is without doubt the most exciting share prospect and most interesting bb around. Enjoy life, have faith, no regrets. I won't say do you own research as unless you are clairvoyant or know more than DW, it would be a waste if time. Go with your gut feeling on this one. And remember that your sell is someone else's potential future gain, More often than not the MM. Have a great day all. In compliance with waivers! It just means that they have done what they agreed ie to appoint an investment bank to advise them how to make the most of a bad situation. Hopefully they will have some aces up their sleeves when providing SSG with the real oil production figures. Or at least the ones likely to be produced going forward. Crystal ball anyone?

Thanks for comments all. Looks like a spike it was, but still way up from last week, so far. I expect volatility may persist until we get hard data and news, hopefully good. Then time for a reassessment. It's a bit like being a weather man this innit? Partially serious, a bit comedic, but good fun overall.

...feeling like a chump! I really thought we were onto a winner this time last year. Like many of you I have foolishly hung on to hope and even topped up as recently as last week. I am beginning to think that the BOD are taking the PI**. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, will they please announce that the WF flood IS working and give professional projections or actual figures regarding the pay back for the time and money that we have invested? I do believe we have every right to be angry and feel completely and utterly let down by the BOD. But, I did my own research, so only have myself to blame. Anyone investing now is basically a gambler IMHO. Oh wait, thats me! Still, I have enjoyed reading the comments on here over the past 12 months. Yes they need more cash. But I imagine they have to tread very carefully when disclosing how well (or how badly) WF has worked. Indeed, there have been many posts on this board criticising the delay in disclosing production figures. Do you have a counter view as to why they would delay releasing such information? As I said, I am a novice investor in oil stocks, treading very carefully in an effort to learn. Topped up yesterday btw. GLA GS

As a purely novice investor in this stock for around 12 months, I guess I am one of the shareholders that is being thanked for my loyalty and support in the company. Thanks for that. I guess we need to wait a little longer to see if the Bod are holding back info on the real positive effects of water flood. My own thoughts (hopes) are that the results are a little better than they are telling us. Why? If they are not then the company will need a much higher injection of cash which needs to be raised somehow. And I don't se any urgency to create the atmosphere for that cash injection. Where are the cash raising ideas, presentations, forward plans? Nowhere to be seen. WF therefore must be working and things will pick up in the coming few months. Together with a rise in poo, bingo. Sorted. Forever the optimist. This is 1% of my 2nd pension pot. Btw. GS

Presumably they still enjoy the odd bottle of Aquavit in the boardroom at our expense? I really hope not. Even a drunk has the good sense not to spill what it is that they crave. Eureka.
