Tullow needs a CEO from a big player like chevron, shell etc with a wealth of knowledge and a passion to grow the business whilst putting the shareholders first.

Still doesn’t add up, II’s selling at a loss @ 40p as opposed to @20? Its more financially beneficial to sell at 40p, than say shorts and II’s split the short profit 50 percent from 40p to 20p.. Would only work if the II’s increased their long positions after the share price has been pulled down, but that ain’t happening as no RNS notifications of them increasing their holdings. Shorts are using outstanding liquid stock.

JMAX your claims that the II’s that are at huge loss lend to shorters to pull the share price down further to widen their loss? How’s that work. The numbers don’t add up as the II’s will always be at a huge loss regardless of a share of the short position profits.

If Roald Goethe was to reduce I would be out the door the same day.. I have been reading a few Ghana tax disputes with various companies, in which it seems Ghana back down and withdraw after a short period of time whereas with Tullows case they are in for the long haul. Also Ghana government owe Tullow 40 million? Is that a case of well we’re holding on to this? Kenya before year end? I doubt it, it’s gone all quiet and no mention in Novembers update, I’m taking a 3rd of the table here at a massive loss and putting into CNE which is in a upwards trend until this tax dispute is resolved.

I suspect the previous days of rise were rumours within the market of significant announcement in the coming days, which caused speculation over Tax or Kenya.. Rahul may have just decided he’s winding down for retirement in the near future or could be many reasons for walking. I think most investors have got frustrated with missed milestones, empty promises and repeated extensions to Kenya etc. so maybe the time is right for a new CEO with new ideas. Since Rahul took over the share price went south.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on 2025 share price. It’s vital TLW win the tax dispute and get Kenya FDP over the line with partners lined up. Get it right 50p, get it wrong 20p. Fail on these and BOD need to go as investors will have no faith in their future efforts…

Interesting the major shareholders are tightening the screw on the BOD, not surprising as most are sat on significant paper losses and BOD keep using timelines on Kenya, tax and growth….
