All this Tullow community funding in Ghana annoys me… they keep throwing time and money into the community yet their government refuses to pay for gas it has received and try’s tax grabs…

Anton I have been watching these all week.. the data has been stuck since the 24th.

Jmax I don’t think many mid sized oilers would have the finances for this project,, get the FDP first then partners will show some interest,, I do expect approval is imminent and Kenya will have a stake, maybe 25%. Kenya obtain required land, and access rights, they provide access roads and electricity connections from transmission lines etc as their financial input

I’m guessing the final FDP milestone is parliament ratification after EPRA review approval. Tomorrow is Kenya parliament approval discussions of the 2025 budget policy

If a figure has been discussed wouldn’t this need to be disclosed… the first offer last year was 205 when the share price was circa 148, circa 38% premium. So I guess that’s why not so much rise today.. for them to come back to the table again indicate they will be making a firm offer.. I expect they will try around 50p

A detailed update on Kenya,, progress on appointment of a CEO. how much of the Glencore facility was used to redeem bonds and what % interest.. what the plans are for growth, production stabilisation and what they are doing about the share price Rahul has crashed by 75%

Reading through the 2024 Kenya parliamentary budget planning policy, there is no mention of the lokichar oil fields… now it’s written into the 2025 document with tax revenue funds allocated for land acquisitions etc to assist the development, its looking like the Kenyans want it to go ahead, and have a stake in the project. The Kenyan tax revenue increased last year allowing more funds available to reinvest in growth.

The past couple of years they have allocated 10 million each year.. they need the FDP before they can sell a proportion of it. Until a partner is secured they won’t be allocating anymore..

My understanding was EPRA had to approve it then hand over to parliament for ratification.. last we heard it was stuck with EPRA

Update on water flood production imminent.. 3 months passed since start up… min 3 months to see results

The parliamentary document was dated last week… after reading that and other other articles I’m guessing announcement of FDP approval is imminent
