a warehouse sold at 48% above the Dec-2009 valuation. In other words, the value of this companie's assets are quite seriously undervalued. RNS Number : 4706Q Raven Russia Limited 04 August 2010 RAVEN RUSSIA LIMITED ("Raven Russia" or the "Company") Sale of Warehouse The Board of Raven Russia is pleased to announce that it has signed contracts to sell its Russian subsidiary, ZAO Kulon Estate ("RR Baltia") to Casebre Holdings Limited, a Cypriot registered company. Cash consideration of $42 million will be paid for the sale. Completion is expected in the final quarter of 2010. The purchase price represents a premium of 48% over the Company's 31st December 2009 valuation. It is now one of our smaller properties and although our strategy remains to build our portfolio a sale at this price at this time was an attractive opportunity."
So, what does switching from the AIM usualy result in? I'm a but of a noob on these things
Choppy2 my woolworths in lancaster were selling everything, including TCO at 10% off, but WHSmiths accross the road were selling them at 3 for 2. They were never going to be sold in woolworths.
This is a company with cash equationg to 9.66p per share, plus a number of profitable products. 13p is a serious undervaluation of the company
The reason for the drop: http://investors.arktherapeutics.com/servlet/HsPublic?context=ir.access&ir_option=RNS_NEWS&item=315695128659129&ir_client_id=4553&transform=newsitem_new
England's first two world cup games are on a friday night and a saturday night. Should have all the pubs full.
Housing data from america wasn't good, wich means that the company's assets (mainly buildings) don't look quite so healthy, it's a short term blip, as propperty prices are only ever going to go up long term. As an aside, will more people go to the pub to watch Ireland or France in the world cup? It's 1-1 on aggregate as i type.
We've also got the world cup comming up in the summer to get the tills rinnging. The better england do, the more money PUB should make.
jgdavey, doubling your money (and indeed, mine as i'm in at 99p) in 12 months seems likely. We've got the christmas and new year party season on our dorstep, then the world cup in the summer. And as the economy slowly picks up we'll have to write-up the value of all the pubs.
is this one of ours? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/russia/6493303/Fork-lift-drivers-warehouse-disaster-video.html
but as the property market improves (and it will over the next year) the assets are going to look substantially under priced......

We can assume the news will be pretty good, who shells out a load of money going to New Orleans to deliver poor results.
Exciting day so far.
It seems that the net asset value is over a pound a share, so am i right in thinking that if i buy today at 40p and the company disolves tomorrow morning then i'd still double my money just from sale of assets. What's the catch?
I had a buy order set for 32p today, I feel pleased with myself.
Worth bearing in mind that their assets is all in propperty, which has had to be severely written-down, but it's still the same bricks and mortar so over the next couple of years their assets are going to increase in value.
I think fjp73's point might have been that 3i are the vulture that'll come along to snap up some bargains.
