Stefan Bernstein explains how the EU/Greenland critical raw materials partnership benefits GreenRoc. Watch the full video here.
I didn't get the impression he was the type to 'lick his wounds' - He also actually stated that he was just too busy with work to post or do any research.
Shame, as his input would be valuable
I get the impression theiceberg has left the building......
Worth a scan if you've not already.

2017 - Total - 1 148 000 - 0.14 [g/t au] - 1.2 [g/t ag] - 0.22% [cu]
2018 - Total - 1 161 000 - 0.14 [g/t au] - 1.2 [g/t ag] - 0.23% [cu]
Shows BR could well still be profitable when the near surface 'high-grade' shiz is depleted.
Hopefully Bird is not BS'ing us when he stated the near surface volume could pay off capex in 4/5yrs. Decent bit of profit after that then go deeper if cu price is still decent, which it should be.
Only other 'near term' energy solution will be RR's SMR reactors and they are years away from being up and running.
A question for Bird at the AGM, I'd like to know how we are paying them too! - Could well be the roast team dumping shares of late...

Comes across OK - Certainly seems more pragmatic than Bird
You would really have to be cynical to believe their DD was not done correctly. At the time up to signing you would certainly hope all was well. - You're right HZ, so why wasn't this picked up on?? (We found out post purchase it was all over the news)
- The thing is HZ, a pattern has formed and there's a common denominator here...CB. 1 or 2 feck-ups, fine, this is mining after all! - But you've got to admit he seems world class at picking up a new project that can't deliver anything, we just lose money. In fact the only project we've made money on was one that Jan Nelson bought!
Look at the pattern here. show DD to you?
- Buying a mine in the middle of nowhere and then realising, years later, that it's not going to be viable as it's too costly to transport. Poor DD in my book.
- Finding out your partner is some sort of mafia boss and it's been all over the news in Africa. Poor DD in my book.
- Giving 450k to a diamond miner to get him started on out alluvials only to find out his...wait for it...diamond mining plant is useless for gold alluvial mining. Poor DD in my book.
A big find, Odyn knows how many years ago, was all well and good but Bird using us and our money, as risk, just to show the market and his ego that he's not a one hit wonder...
I say again, it's long overdue you took a step back Bird. We need someone at the helm that cares about the company and it's shareholders.
>>Eureka now dead and buried - Seems so.
Only a few weeks ago Bird was going on about how much due diligence he and his team do..... Looks like you need to get a new team Bird, your track record at XTR for taking on projects that go nowhere is the only thing that's world class!
I recall he mentioned 'un-jorq'd' material in his blog, it was 'the fatal flaw' in Steve's calc. But not explicitly the 730.
I know it's a bit hypocritical me quoting words from Bird but was just going through an interview dated 19-12-23:
'In total, let's just get it all in perspective if we can, I used to go on about I reckon were going to get 500e6t, (he was also 'going on' about 1e9) we've now got 730e6t, inferred, under our belt and if you remember some of it, from the Racecource is indicated.
Anyone know where the 730e6t came from? (He mentions it 3 times). Don't recall seeing that in a RNS. - Bird getting his numbers wrong again or his he including material that couldn't be mentioned in the JORC? (I had a conversation with a shareholder some time ago who had had spoke to Bird on the phone, he told me Bird had mentioned ~there's a lot more copper not covered in the 1.3e6t)
If Bird was correct then that's ~1.6e6t[@ .22 cu Eq] so if we could get another ~20% from the extra drilling we'd be knocking on the door of 2e6t and escape from AA.
Docit - We just need AA out of the way, especially if they are not really interested. I have a feeling they won't make it easy for us to escape the 2MT/DtM clauses thou.
To be fair to Bird he did buy shares in XTR recently and spent, roughly, the same amount as he did buying JLP
>>No, I’m paid per word ;-)
You got a good deal with CB then... :)
>>I really don't know how he can get away with spouting wishful thinking as facts.
I'm not sure he can, over the last few months I've been collating and saving his interviews/presentations and making note of the statements he's made. If BR turns out to be no-viable after all Bird's been spouting I will be looking to take legal actions against him. Let's face it it's not as if he was hinting that BR could be good - He was shouting from the rooftops that it was going to be a world class asset.
In one interview he stated that the mine, BR, would still be going after all in the room were 'long dead'. I hope I've got more than 9years left in me....
>>I personally 100% do not blame anyone but myself for my timing. Really HZ? As you are so fond of taking what CB says at face value then do tell, how you feel your timing was bad?
According to CB, BR would have hit 2MT by now and would have been sold as a T1 world class asset. His own words at a formal presentation to shareholders: 'will it be a mine, yes!!' - The reality is none of us have any idea!
Are you paid per post here?
>>In short, CB's expectation management is shocking and self destructive.
In terms of CB never a truer word spoken.....at the ripe old age of 80 he still acts like an exited child. Now that's fine in many respects but certainly not when he should be acting in a professional manner...
You've only got to look at the other companies he's invested and see the same thing happening there. Even good/half decent news releases and the SP goes nowhere.
He's well and truly tainted his name (IMO) and it's time for new blood.
As I've said before Bird has his positives but that isn't running companies/giving presentations/interviews. He should be in the background looking for deals and kept away from the mic! (IMO)
I have the Fenix-7. Great watch!
>>Remember one of CB’s old comments, “only a major could take this on.” That is what he was referring to.
I'm genuinely surprised that you still quote Bird's comments and they actually still hold sway over you....

Further Plans
Now that the maiden Ascot Prospect Mineral Resource has been estimated and the Racecourse Prospect Mineral Resource updated with all the Phase 2 drilling data, Xtract has again contracted independent consultants Optimal Mining Solutions (Pty) Ltd to update the Bushranger Project open pit mining study. The update to the open pit mining study will examine the economics of a 25Mtpa open pit mining operation extracting both the Ascot and Racecourse Mineral Resources. Xtract estimates that the update to the open pit mining study will be completed early in 2023. Following the updating of the open pit mining study, Xtract will determine the optimum way to further advance the Bushranger Project and advise shareholders and the market early in 2023 of the Company's plans for the Project.
>> Xtract will determine the optimum way to further advance the Bushranger Project and advise shareholders and the market early in 2023 of the Company's plans for the Project. - Bird stated, verbally so sack of salt required, there would be more drilling based off the results/guidance of the open pit mining study.....
After listening to so many of the roast "interviews" on many of CBs companies, its clear to me that the roast boys are nothing more than CBs "head of public relations". Couldn't agree more A4444.
I was recently been removed from the Roasts Telegram forum for responding to a question 'Would you invest in another CB company' - I, surprise surprise, responded no and gave reasons based on my experience here which were around Bird's failure to meet deadlines and over exuberance (misunderstandings) RE:2MT in the bag.
I asked them why on the GLR forum and they claimed ignorance....Perhaps it was Bird himself! Either way seems they are only interested in rampy comments there which I guess is fair enough considering they are probably pulling in $$ from CB (us)...
A4444 buying up the company!
