I've thought about this too LW - Would a T1 company buy it's way in/buy-out the whole of XTR considering the low SP - I guess it depends how water tight the AA/Prospectore contract is...Could a major circumvent it? - Probably not...

I don't feel any 3rd party valuation will nessecearly go our way, for sure they are going to be conservative. We can see form Icebergs ValMin calcs how conseravtive you really can be! Furthermore, I recall, the furthest away from the 3rd party valuation needs to pay for it. Better to spend that cash on getting the word out there, lift the SP and put the company in a more stable position. With a low SP and not much cash in the bank AA for sure will have the upper hand.

Westlad - I think you need to listen to the latest interview, CB stated his exasperation with the current SP and even went as far to say a higher SP would help us negotiations.

Just my opinion, but for sure I would like the SP much higher before we go into negotiations.

I still feel a concerted PR effort would be worth it, even if, as you say, it only gets us to ~10p its still welll worth while before starting negotiations.

Far better to be @~10p and asking for ~2.5 times that (~25p) than @~5p asking for 5 times the SP.

He's right to fret about the current SP when in a few months we could be entering into sale negotiations. I mentioned this a few months ago and was berated, by some.

It's going to be tough asking for 25/30/35p+ for an asset that's, currently, considered worthless by the market.

CB giving the odd interview to Zak is just not going to get the word out there - A few months back I sent emails out to quite a few mining journals/mags etc; it seems there's just no interest in publishing articles about XTR.

This needs a dedicated real PR push over the next 2-3months now IMO. Get some decent professional presentations together and get the word out!

Well written CE, it's high time we binned them. CB has been questioned on this subject by zac in the past but was pretty dismissive/reluctant to change. Who knows why??

It's not mixed messages the way I see it, Assay's for the open pit and the open pit model will be complete by April. This starts the ball roiling with AA why they continue to drill at Ascot. As he's stated the 'science' in terms of geo-phys has no doubt helped the geo's drill locations and will be part of the evidence to show there is good potential asset in Ascot.

The disparity between How XTR and AA will value this will be thrashed out in the board room.

I've been assuming a final average grade of .35% so, based on that we need ~570Mt

Bird mentioned that we could actually buy a bigger % back a few months back - Probably linked to MMP's finance issues

I'm sure Bird & AA are already in 'informal' discussion's - I imagine they already know what he's after and he will have an idea of what they want in terms of confidence that Racecourse, and now Ascot, are viable.

OK - So according to the live Empress presentation - Manica will be 'putting ore through the mill within 2 months'

I'm not saying it's a given however, based on Empress info, we will not get meaningful income until Q3. For sure they will be teething problems before they reach a decent level of efficiency.

- There will be more drilling, we still need to find the SE/SW extension and CB himself has stated that the company will, at least, look to find Ascot's porphyry boundary. More hole looking for a 3rd porphyry? Footrot?

- Assays' cost and our contractor salaries for open pit modelling will also have to be paid.

Not to mention when we enter in the AA discussions and, should, there be no agreement we may have to stump up funds for a 3rd party assessment.

It would be useful if CB told us how much CiB we currently have.

CB stated in the last interview that no raise was needed

Well, his actually words were more like 'The BB is saying there will be a raise in January - Not going to happen'

Crafty wording, but that does not mean there will be one in Feb
