Since the demerger less than 2 years ago, M&G don't appear to have announced a dividend policy and it's probably fair to say that last years dividends are not necessarily to be taken as a guide to future dividends. The company website does not supply details of future dividend dates but the H1 results to be released on 10 August should hopefully provide more guidance.

Dead right. My observation over recent years is that anyone using the Fact ploy is spouting B/S and is merely shouting it. Used to hear it amongst rowdy youths having an argument over football in a pub. Surprises me that it pops up on Shares BBs.

RK - Personally don't care what the others think. Your info is just as relevant, often much more so, than many others here and helps provide balance. I have a substantial part of my portfolio invested here (probably too much) as my last big punt and don't trade any of it for FOMO as we seem to be in the most decisive few months for the SP - and about time too - so I welcome input such as yours on which I make my own judgement call, as I do to others.
