RE: RM and SH, a discussion on T/O, JV27 Mar 2021 16:04
Oakleaf in a way as a listed company they would have no real choice if a takeover offer came in or even jv. They got to do what is best for shareholders and with some large funds like polar it would be out of their hands. They would have to report the info to us shareholders and we would vote on it. Whether some of the team stay on etc. Who knows. The most obvious for me would be thermofisher as they produce the interferon for us already, they are on the expansion trail both organically and through acquisition. They have a large cash pot due to covid diagnostics sales, very in bed with the US government and worldwide global reach. Would make perfect sense. AZ obviously may have something to say about all this as they were very close a few years back. Figure back then was around 200m so with current environmental you could possibly add a 0 on to that. Just my thoughts anyway as I can not believe some discussions would not have already have been took place. More positive HT data will make this even more likely as it is basically what the activ2 trial is so you would then be very confident of it being pushed to the next stage of activ2 final trial. Exciting times ahead.
