The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Hi Suzki, I'm in the same position - first took this out in 2003. I missed the 90p sale (09?) as I took my eyes off my portfolio and kicked myself, very hard! Personally, I have family links with the Anglesey area so have an emotional investment in it, however I believe in three key fundamentals, a) Grangesburg is a potential rocket for this share, b) Labrador was up and running relatively recently and was mothballed due to international commodity pricing wars and c) the value of the site in Anglesey is worth the MCap alone without the others.
I do believe that AYM is massively undervalued and have taken the opportunity to top up over the years. I have also taken some profits, but am still sitting with a potentially life changing windfall if it comes to fruition. I know I can hope and dream, but if we can get some traction in Sweden there is real legs in this share to the late teens and twenties without much news. The recently moved on chief was actively promoting the Swedish option and I assume this is still work in progress.
We can live in hope, but I believe that given the evolving needs of the western world, and the modern capabilities of the mining industry compared with when these sites were closed, these assets have come full circle and will soon be needed to service tech industry. We must employ caution in any investment, of course, but the mere land value of AYM assets exceeds its MCap significantly. GLA
Looks like someone has a busy buying finger today...
This is a long term hold for many of us, so I wouldn't worry about drops. Another buying opportunity if you ask me.
Big news incoming??
Staying in position until the end of the year...
Yes, global miners are moving to EV, both in terms of heavies and support, and I am actively involved in this.
I do doubt that QME would consider taking on Grangesberg as their main activities are concentrated on the British Isles, however if they are looking to expand further into Europe it would be an ideal case study.
Regarding board manners, I agree that references to anyone members illnesses should be avoided. However, the subject these are directed to also needs to avoid making defamatory comments to other posters at will. Some of the comments made are frankly disgusting and have no place in decent conversation.
Peace, love and harmony...
Helium show will make this go well over 15p!
From reading the last couple of posts following your message Tesla, it sadly looks as though the deaf ears have been fallen upon...
Plenty of viable outs for Putin and Russia, once they accept them diplomacy will return assets to normality and EVR will return to where it was. Time is the only unknown. Putin is already looking for the out and wheels will be in motion.
Going by those figures, around £5bn!!
Looks like he'd have been better sticking with AYM than going to AMGO...
Well done, by close of play you've broken even...
It's a pump and dump job, which is clearly your game. Each to their own.
Please do! So, to recap, you've lost on that batch from AYM and you're now losing on this one. Great advice...
MIrror, mirror...
And he's able to "recommend" his own comment three times like clockwork. Must be a fun life...
Look in the mirror and you’ll find one straight away…
Great way to get the word out there and raise the profile locally. As long as there are no decent golfers it’ll be fine ??
Hard to say, but I'd suggest it is a buy based on the trend yesterday afternoon?
Must be imminent, surely?
Jebus wept... Clothes maketh the man, Suzki? Perhaps a top hat and tails would allow him to sweep into the investment pits of this world and acquire some good "old money" to fund some of this modern carry on? A few guineas to ensure that the lower classes can get down the mines where they belong? Bring back the birch!
Fresh approach required, not a fresh wardrobe. From what I am reading and seeing, this is what is happening.
