Libero: Wow!... You didn't need to justify your actions to me but that having been stated I really respect you for that, and indeed the descison you've reached with this one. I was only trying to keep you positive so to speak. I am reasonably new to the Bullitin Board concept and have been seriously trading my pension pot for five years or so. It's a lonely existence but it's very refreshing to be able to communicate with those of a like mind. I have learnt a lot fom the boards and there are some good guys out there who just genuinely want to help. I Still make the usual mistakes : take profits to early and run with losses though on balance pleased thus far with the results. PS Am wondering when the market correction will come and if it's "Sell in May and go Away" ..for a couple of years or so?

How can you possiby change you views in 2 or 3 hours from being very bullish to bearish....This share went from 297 to 311 only this morning and then you've got the divi yield...Hang on in their and BTW you won't be the only one with "slow burners" in your portfolio

Could it have hit the floor this morning... I was in and out thismorning in a couple of hours to test the water Am now looking to re-enter as IMO this was massively oversold.. The quick recoveries am and pm were IMO a show of strenghth A solid buisiness which has plenty of time to diversify or look for other ways of dealing with pensions/annuities..

Gerry:just transfered from Halifax to Hargreaves to consolidate...It took from Dec to Mar ...Even thought about transfering out of HL to III but missed the end Feb deadline.. Can I be as bold as to ask who your are transfereing to..

In and out of LG this aftternoon and holding Aviva...I think your spot on about potential profit drop here and IMO it could take a few trading sessions for it to consider potential impact of changes ...Could be reasonably volatile during so ...Maybe a cheeky limit order of 117p

This is great feed back and helps with descision making process....I have bought chunks of L&G and Aviva this afternoon (having sold Aviva last week) I am chasing the Divis and long term recovery

Well done Scottn93...I jumped in too soon with Aviva at 495.. but in for the Divi and hopefully a market overreaction...(though sold Aviva last week so again back in )/ Just but a tranch of Lgen

Recomended Cairn as a buy in the Jan 350 review at 260ish...As has been stated they have a lot of drilling opportunities going on over next few months hopefully they will come good and so will the SP...I will consider averaging down on this one provided we see a couple of up days/weeks

Thanks for taking the time out explain this but how can you buy the shares sight now at 225..Does it only apply to those who owned shares when the RNS was issued i.e 0700 hrs today or as Spot Dog suggests maybe for every 3 owned you aquire on free.
