Hi My shares are with H-L and they want £10 + vat to submit my vote... dont think my vote will matter too much if the sale goes through I get out brake even (ish) having been down over £4k at one point...dissapointing just when I thought it may recover

From an average profit of 177m over 4 years from 2011-2008. to a loss of 23m in 2012...and borrowings averaging 87 mil for the same 4 year period to borrowings of 489 m in 2012!...quite frankly the fudementals beg question or do they. Whilst I want in to the construction industry and BBY was on my watch list for 210-215 enty I am not sure I would be interested in anybodys genuine thoughts on this

Am off to HL for proxy form to vote No....however what if the vote suceeds and then we have an owner running a company that he no longer wanted? What are your thoughts

On anyones thoughts/views as to why this has retraced so much on account of the AT&t and Direct TV link up or are there other factors as the fundementals look OK to me....Or is it just overvalued and overbought after ths steady climb and due a pull back

Thanks for all your replies I would be interested in your thoughts as to whether you see the Dow retracing in the near term...the "Sell in May and Go away" When and by how much do you see it retracing or whether it will continue to go north to year end and to what level.. From my point of view I am nervous..I am about 60% cash at moment as I cannot see why the DJIA is at the level its at ..I do belive there will be a retrace from 3rd week in May by approx 10% and then a further decline over next 18 months..I may be completely wrong though...If I am right it could maybe affect the high flyers Good luck to al

Thanks for your reply..Have been reading the boards and you are well respected and deserve to be.For me I retired far to ealy at 55 and now do this full time... I have learnt some painful lessons but all in all happy with the results thus far. Only recently got involved with the LSE board and Aim shares...They are not for the faint hearted as indeed spread betting, which I admit to being hopeless at even though I use it by way of hedging. Continue to lose with SB but say IG's advanced charts are great.
