Hang on a minute... In IG Index news stories yesterday...it stated that Socos profits wer 50% down on 2013 But Socos report states Profit after tax of $14.0 million (2013: $104.1 million) after non-cash $79.5 million of exploration write-offs and $60.5 million impairment of CNV Had they not had the exploration right offs of £79 m & impairment of £60.5 mil... then if we add this back are the profits more like £153 m. I could be completely wrong but interested in anyones thoughts ..Either way report look good to me as they are taking good steps to control business through down turn so these are no on my watchlist

I wish my trading was as accurate as my prediction below for size of divi retrace. bob6.....I fully concur that current sp could present a value buy opportunity...any further retrace and I will consider adding

My guess is that it could retrace by up to 44p on Ex divi day but then recover...

I am fancying a limit order here sub 900

If it can break above 967 nxt wek... which it should after dust has settled re Eygpt... and crude rises above 54$ then I see next resistance at 1080ish. I am holding right now though sold HTG today ... Interested in your thoughts on John Laing IPO...last years increase in profits was quite incredible looking at the prospectus

I would guess it was the rise in US Light crude. HTG is influenced by Oil price and GDP/USD rate s of exchange

Patexd is right..You should have received shares every qtr. Indeed there were 3 options of which to receive shares in lieu of a cash dividend (which would have been subject to Spanish tax) was the default option. Do you have a broker ir not then e mail Bamco Santander Investor relations...Hope this helps BTW I beleive the latest from Banco Std is share for every 44 held I could be wrong though

Looking at the SP today Dendria is right ex Divi is today.

Spot on Indianna ... Divi date unclear... I will hang on until Thurs.... guess it will retrace on ex divi day
