No ctbn ..elliot wave to complex for me..just the basics...when an SP has had the ....ripped out of it and grossly oversold ..and things like...director buys..take overs at a much higher SP.. then I am looking for a 5% or so recovery to have another go or dip my toe in the water...Sadly in this case it's the former

Does anybody know whether in the very unlikely event that a spread betting company was to fold..in which case one had to refer to the fcsa to claim your monies on account back from them...that a claim may not be successful as the business is a gambling concern ...

Thus question is because a freind seeking a higher interest rate on his ISA withba reputable property develoer when drilling down established that it could be that his referral to the fcsa could be rejected on the grounds that the business speculated on the property market.

I don't wish to raise awareness thus is just a genuine question as I have had deposits on spread betting sites

Thanks for the clarification here ...Just set up a limit order to buy 1k at 1433 this afternoon but doubt that it will be filled

IMO..the Dow will rise steeply this afternoon with sell off before COB hopefully giving a chance for this SP to rise by 7 or 8 points...Just ,my opinion

Yesterday afternoon at COB...then immediately tried to place a limit order to sell on opening...afterv 3 or 4 attempts I gave up and hey presto SP up on opening...This leaves me suspiciou
