RE: Balance Sheet28 Jun 2023 12:13
Hi Acker
The new pump seals are on a 16 week lead time, but in the meantime i would guess that Stark have seals on site to replace any leaking ones in the mill, to keep the mill going.
If the seals arrive seperately each pump will need to stripped down as in the youtube video i posted last night. This would probably take a week or so to replace while keeping the mill rolling or they shut the mill down and replace all the lot at once. Maybe take a day. They may have even ordered new pumps for a direct like for like replacement this will take a day also. Once the equipment arrives in ZIM, and is a few hours from site, i would get everything dismantled for when they arrive on site.
All other parts of the plant will be working up to the milling. They will still pile up close to the plant, what they have excavated ready to load up the plant.
The FM in place will cover any hickups they have for delivery for the new equipment. Stark will be chasing this like mad, as time is of the essence to get the plant up and working correctly.
The UV being installed this week will optimise the plant to 50% production capacity in readiness for the new seals / pumps installed. At a guess, what PREM said about production quants running up to December, you could probably put the December figures into November
GR wants the plant up and running so all hands will be on deck. However, nobody will be sat around on site doing nothing. What ever they can do, they will. Stark will pull out all the stops they can.
