UN Security Council meeting 2am
Cobra meeting 6.30am
We should have a Cobra meeting to discuss:
- the record highs at the pumps.
- an estimated 50% hike in light and heat costs to come.
- the rise in national insurance to pay for covid after squandering billions of pounds unnecessarily. Some was necessary (thank you NHS). Unnecessarily for given out contracts to mates for dodgy gear. Being defrauded millions, if not billions on bogus covid grant claims. Buying dodgy gear from China.
- the £900k consultancy fee paid to prove that a bridge cannot be built from Scotland to Ireland.
- the £1.2m a day hotel bill to house illegal immigrants and refugees (not to mention the legal costs, pocket money etc)
- the millions of pounds that we have given to France to tackle a problem that is still the same year after year
- the billions of pounds over budget on a stupid railway line that most of us won't use to save 40 mins journey time
- the shear waste of taxpayers money
- there's more but I'll be here all night
And finally, your stocks and shares investments being battered because they let this Ukraine / Russia thing get out of hand. Just in time too so that attention can diverted from the failings in my 'concise' list. This is the one thing that our leaders of all involved countries cannot be forgiven for.
You couldn't make it up and the sad thing is, the other parties would have probably blown our money in the same manner.
