There is no way that he'll be allowed to fire some nukes in Ukraine. Think of the fall out. Think Chernobyl - you can't live there and you won't be able to for decades. He might do that if he spits his big fat Russian dummy out and says "if I can't have it then nobody else can have it". It will be a small one though.
The only time he'll be allowed to use it is if Russia is attacked. That ain't going to happen because we are not as thick as he thinks we are. He could attack Russia himself and Vladimir might claim that it was the West that attacked them - that would be true to form.
