RE: Possibility of Peace?8 Oct 2022 17:05
We will always agree to disagree on this subject Everest.
You are ultra pro Russian and anti USA.
Under the current regime, I am anti Russian. I want the everyday Russian folk to live a fair and peaceful life with freedoms of speech, growth and so on and so on.
When it is all done, we'll be able to see who is right Everest.
Like I posted earlier. I am not blind to what the USA is doing either. I watched 'The Coming War on China' by John Pilger a few years back. It was made in 2015 before covid and the Ukraine / Russia situation. Some of the acts that the USA carried out were / are disgusting. The Marshall Islands for one. I know that they stoke up a lot of the world issues. BUT this does excuse what Putin and friends are doing. This is not the way to sort this. I also understand that the USA are trying to pick a fight with China because China have become wealthier than the USA and the USA won't accept that. It was interesting that during the Cuban missile crises when there was a USA false alarm to fire some nukes from south east asia (stood down at the last minute), all but one of the misiles were pointing to China, Hong Kong and North Korea. There was only one missile aimed at Russia and the Cuban missile crises was between the USA and Russia.
I know my own country is not always squeaky clean. I've recently read Operation Trojan Horse by Stephen Davis and how the government and British Airways deny that they knew Kuwait was going to be invaded by Iraq before BA Flight 149 took off from Heathrow airport, destined for Kual Lumpar. It refuelled in Kuwait en-route whilst Iraq was invading and even whilst other flights were turned away, flight 149 landed in Kuwait. 400 passengers were stranded and most ended up as human shields. An organisation set up by Thatcher was / are in bed with British Airways. Even the pilot was swapped beforehand for someone that was part of the organisation. At the last moment a load of special forces personnel in civvies got on the plane before departing from Heathrow. It was a deniable operation. It has been covered up by BA and successive British Governments ever since. Some of the passengers died in Kuwait, most have had mental issues since returning home and a good few have taken their own lives since they were freed. None of them have received any compensation. How can BA and the government compensate these people if they still deny that they had any involvement to what happened.
I'm not blinkered.
"With regards to your Russian lie claims, let's wait for official statements rather than referring to the Daily Mail...lol!"
ROFL - Daily Mail claim? The video images are all over the news today. Or have they been doctored? :-)
All the best Everest.
I mean you no harm and it actually feels good to debate this subject with you. Thanks.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
Apologies for discussing this on a EUA investment board but EUA are in Russia and IMO this war is holding things up.
