Morning 88 and hardup.
Yes it sounds like frustration and another buyback basher. Chid thought the board were tempted to reduce the final dividend before it was announced and that buybacks keep the capital in the business somehow. I do get a little confused with his thought processes when you sift through the vast volume of material in his posts 😳
What worries me about Trump is he will disengage from Ukraine and leave Putin to do what he wants in his desire to put the USSR back together. That will also embolden China to invade Taiwan.
Trump has some great economic policies and has promised a trade deal with the UK but his foreign policies scare me to be honest.
Livestock,
Your post was the last post I saw when I came on here last night. I remembered you had made a comment about car finance costs on results day. There’s no need to be insulting. If you post on here, expect scrutiny from other posters.
In so far as volume is concerned, the issuer must not purchase more than 25% of the average daily volume of the shares in any one day on the [regulated market] on which the purchase is carried out.
The average daily volume figure must be based on the average daily volume traded in the month preceding the month of public disclosure of that programme and fixed on that basis for the authorised period of the programme.
Where the programme makes no reference to that volume, the average daily volume figure must be based on the average daily volume traded in the 20 trading days preceding the date of purchase.
Do your own research in future instead of being bone idle.
