You’re wasting your time sadly. You’re absolutely correct. Flu is an influenza virus and Covid-19 is a SARS virus. Completely different. Those who keep calling Covid flu need to do a bit more research. You won’t find global health agencies calling Covid flu. Some horrible stories in India about Black fungus following Covid infection which results in an eyeball being removed to save them. Don’t remember flu doing that to anyone in my lifetime. The vaccine refuseniks are now trying to blame the vaccine for normal everyday deaths because they’ve been doubled jabbed recently when they fail to appreciate that over 30m people in the UK have received both jabs since January.

Probably as simple as a bit of profit-taking after a couple of days of rises. The share price can’t go up every day as much as we’d like it to.

This share is going to be a slow burner on its way back up. Patience will be rewarded IMHO.

Mine went in with AJ Bell early afternoon. I used to work for a stockbroker Eccles and the dividend programme used to take a while to run. I’m sure things are quicker these days. The payment date was the 25th May. I can’t quite understand why some are getting so worked up about whether they received the dividend at 8.30 am or 5.30 pm. The platform providers are hardly getting interest with base rates at 0.1% pa lol. I guess if peeps are so bothered by it, they’d better switch provider.

I’m sure it takes the platforms a few hours to credit accounts with dividends depending upon their number of clients and speed of their systems. Let’s hope you don’t croak it before the end of the day Victor. You could always buy on the internet later with the proceeds if it’s not in your account by the times the shops shut......

What’s the panic about having the dividend in your account ? The day isn’t over yet.

The 34m buy is the daily 16.35 Uncrossed Trade which is registered as a buy or a sell, when in fact it is neither and is merely a matching of buy and sell orders in a SETS auction.

There is an uncrossed trade at 16.35 every day in major stocks registered as a buy or a sale.

The dividend per share would go up by 10 times if a 1 for 10 consolidation was done. Why wouldn’t it ?

Doesn’t make a shred of difference. The market capitalisation remains the same. This share is heavily traded with a tiny spread and doesn’t need consolidation.

Hopefully, with PPI finished, Brexit benefits and Covid under control, Lloyds will trade itself back over £1 at some point in the next couple of years.

When results are delayed it’s normally bad news in my experience. Luckily, I don’t have many of these that I bought at £1 and I agree the forward guidance is hardly inspiring following the cash call. Good luck all.
