What an arrogant fool Bumble really is. He purports to be some kind of moralistic environmentalist even objecting to Extreme E as he allegedly worries about the damage their rally cars might be doing to the fragile ecosystems they race through but seems happy to continue to hold AFC shares despite this alleged consternation. If he was so bothered he would sell his AFC holding and be gone. Behaviour typical of a hypocrite. He clearly just wants to make money and cares little about how he makes it I suspect, which is why he gets so cross with posters who aren't always super positive on all things AFC as he fears, wrongly that their comments could damage his investment. Absurd I know. I have no time for posters who resort to offensive name calling just because they don't agree with someone else's posts. Seems pretty malign behaviour to me. Sign of a small mind too.

I'd seriously consider selling at £1, yes. I used to have many more shares than now and at this point in time I'm glad I sold most of them. Of course if the SP does ever take off into the pounds, I'll regret that massively. If Aim genuinely holds 1.7million shares and isn't rattled at the unstable nature of the SP then I admire his bottle and conviction. For me though Bond seems a bit too clever with his play on words and therefore leaves me full of doubt as to when AFC might achieve meaningful revenue and therefore a significant re-rate.

I've been in and out a few times Starr and overall in profit but my latest venture is costing me. Snag is, it's recognising a pump from a genuine SP rise. Not easy! FOMO abounds with this share due to the omnipresent, just on the cusp, narrative.

But the SP is rubbish!

Some folks have been here 12 years already Starr. I suspect most have nearly had enough of the promise of jam next year and if we're talking years then another raise is a definite. The only good thing there is that AB seems quite adept at getting a good pump on before doing so.

Let's be honest the MC and therefore SP is not based on fundamentals but theoretical future revenues and profitability. It looks like currently this sector is out of favour and so the market is removing its rose tinted spectacles. I hope this is a temporary glitch and previous levels of market enthusiasm for this sector return, quickly raising the SP accordingly. Someone mentioned equalling ITM's MC soon. I hope we don't achieve this by their MC coming down to meet ours somewhere around £400 million! A few sales of the L system in the here and now would help. As I said yesterday announced future projects with a vague timeline, exciting though they are, do not float the market's boat anymore, mores the pity. I do think posters like Aim and his sad side kick Aaron are not genuine holders as no amount of SP attrition seems to result in any concern being raised by either party. Bizarre!

At least we ended up today unlike after the recent ABB announcement. Nevertheless, a disappointing market reaction with it looking like the days of 20% rises on news of future projects is over. I'd like to know if the liquid cell is still viable in a commercial setting. I think that's the news the market wants to hear before letting the price rise significantly. Great though today's news is, it's dependent on the solid cell working as designed and as it's clearly unproven, having not even made an appearance in prototype format, there are no guarantees although it definitely sounds like it's a goer. The company will be in a stronger position if it can make money out of commercialising the liquid cell whilst the solid cell is perfected.

Very happy to be proved wrong. Let's hope this is the beginning of a string of good news during December which will bring the SP back up to previous highs and beyond.

Sounds very exciting. Can we take it from this that the solid cell works? This project and the recent ABB deal are incumbent on it working so it must be well advanced. If this becomes a reality, AB could be the best CEO ever! lol.

An excerpt from 2019 end of year report. Can you see the way expectations have been hyped before only to be silently dropped and forgotten about. Is history repeating itself? Only Bond knows.

Well said Sturmtrupper. I fear you could be correct and am annoyed I didn't offload for a small loss when we briefly touched mid 60s recently. Bond is good at making investors believe AFC is on the cusp of great things which causes FOMO. Snag is it's been on the cusp for years with very little to show for it. Maybe that's why he's there i.e to big things up and keep investors on board until hopefully they finally make some sales. There's a reason IT left and it's not what he said in his resignation statement I suspect.

Come on Aim. He's been touting sales of AFC fuel cells for years and hasn't sold any save for the Extreme E adventure. He's diluted the shares massively to the detriment of shareholders and does not engage with them or other stakeholders in a professional way i.e. hiding behind Covid to avoid shareholders at AGM and refusing to allow any communication with said shareholders outside of that forum e.g. by instructing the company to ignore all emails etc. from concerned PIs. He talks the talk but hasn't delivered on it. Remember the buzz around the Dunsfold to Dundee dash? Still nothing. I guess there's still time for him to redeem himself but it's going down to the wire. At this point in time I feel duped but still have a little hope it might come good. Any other outcome would be outrageous after his half yearly comments but who knows and that's the problem.

I guess our CEO's definition of H2 is a bit confused either that or he was deliberately exaggerating when he made those comments. It'll be December tomorrow and zilch to date! Disappointing but not surprising as AFC have a track record for this kind of non delivery unfortunately.

The new facilities at Dunsfold and more recruited staff I'd concede have/are being delivered. The announced deal with ABB is incumbent on the solid cell tech working and as yet we haven't had any confirmation, via the promised prototype system, that this is the case. So in conclusion Cheekboy, successful delivery of the bulk of the half yearly reported expectations remain elusive.

Aim, you need to mend your sycophantic ways and become a bit more cynical where Bond is concerned.
