Nice Rise today. Let's hope we can keep the momentum and get back to a more respectable SP level so the it can springboard off that when news comes. The sector was certainly moving as one today as confirmed by Aim earlier! I wonder if the severe weather in the USA and over here has been a timely reminder to investors of the importance and complete relevance of hydrogen/ fuel cell companies in addressing this huge issue. Surely this is a no brainer given the current climate emergency!

He is the CTO driving the AEM work forward so it must be a positive as he'll know how well that's all going, obviously. He wouldn't just chuck his money down the pan so it must be seen as a tacit endorsement of that work.

At least haggis doesn't lack confidence in the final outcome but of course that is only his view. I hope he's correct, obviously. Holding AFC through thick and thin does take intestinal fortitude and if we do achieve true commercial success anyone who's stuck with it will deserve their just desserts.

BTW Heath, why does anyone post? Why do you post? You seem to imply that some posters and I'm guessing you're including yourself in this, are in some way more worthy. I find that arrogant.

I think folks are attaching too much relevance to this board. It's just a forum to exchange views on AFC, the good and the bad as different posters perceive it. That's all! I find it odd that some want to create a platform that only caters for one view point i.e. an echo chamber. Dissent is healthy and entirely appropriate as long as it's well argued and measured just as positive comments have their just place too. The one thing I don't like is some posters' tendancies to resort to derogatory comments such as you're talking excrement for example if they don't agree with something that's been posted or how another poster views the current company performance. If a fellow poster really annoys someone that much filter don't abuse. Anyway there are definitely worse boards on LSE so let's not exaggerate that this board is in some way horrendous. I see mostly intelligent people sharing forthright but differing views, nothing more. Also, don't think for one minute anything we say no on here affects the price, AFC do that all on their own.

Sounds plausible Bondy. I guess another easily attained advantage using methanol fuelled cells would be the complete removal of particulate matter pollution associated with diesel generators. This is currently a big problem in itself so would be a quick win for construction site operators in the green stakes not withstanding any CO2 reductions. Hopefully we'll hear something soon on how and in what guise our fuel cells are to be deployed on such sites.

Bondy, thanks for clarifying the identified issues with the L system as contained in the research note. I've suspected for a while that it's not been received particularly well by potential customers and consequently that our commercial future is dependent on a successful S cell iteration so hopefully any prototype versions deployed this year will achieve their design parameters, including longevity, thus allowing full commercial rollout. It's crunch time for AFC as you say and if they finally get it right we could be at the races. Let's hope for some updates soon to clarify where we're at with HFC deployment and S cell readiness. The recent SP action has been most trying so some good news is badly needed and long overdue. Maybe Adam will surprise us this week. He's still got time to shine I guess. Thanks again Bondy and fingers crossed for some better fortune here. Patience will hopefully be rewarded.

You seem obsessed with me Jimmy. At least I don't post offensive comments about other posters just because I don't agree with them. You sir are a bully and clearly a very worried AFC Investor judging by your complete over reaction to any posts that are not on message.

Bondy, I saw your comments around the liberum research note in your post last night, particularly the observation about the alleged issues with the L cell. Could this be the reason for no sales and why there's been no updates on electrode longevity and other performance parameters? If so it's very worrying and sounds like something they should've informed the market of? It also leaves me wondering what else they're hiding and if they'll get the HFC to work to the require standard for deployment in Q1. As you said our commercial future seems to depend on it and AlkaMem being perfected so they have to be good to go soon. Any further thoughts or clarification on this would be appreciated as I trust your obvious knowledge and candour around AFC. The problem with researching this company is that there's so little relevant information available on the technical side of things, which is a big disadvantage when investing in a tech company!

Fuel cell, Bloom, Plug, Ballard all up so maybe we'll get a tick up Monday. Fingers crossed.

Seems that way Bondy, which is why a progress report on the prototype solid cell's performance could make a big difference here assuming it's positive of course!

Thanks for the encouragement Seg. I follow your logic on the price movements as pertains to the sector. I just hope sentiment returns soon or is this higher inflation, higher yield world going to cause a more sustained sector downturn?

I agree athansius that I'm sore and annoyed at buying back in when I'd made good profit but I guess that's how the cookie crumbles. I also went in big time at just over 4p and have done well but not this time! I agree about the solid cell being the key but Bond announced it in 2019 as the holy grail so what the heck have they been doing since? I suspect you feel the same athansius. You haven't been hiding it very well either recently. Nothing puerile about stating the obvious. Most on here were expecting pounds by now. Either most have sold or they take disappointment very well indeed. It's been a disaster since Bond fell silent, let's be honest about that.
