Our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with QuotedData's Edward Marten has just been released. Listen here.
I'm pretty sure noba is a bot just spamming the board
This news to me was far more valuable than any sp rise accompanying it, bring on the new flow rates!
"This is not considered a long term problem as excess gas could be reinjected into the reservoir for pressure maintenance. This combined hydrocarbon deliverability to date confirms the forecasted reservoir properties and highlights the potential deliverability of the Alkaid reservoir. The Company is confident there is upside above these rates as it is apparent that only a portion of the completed wellbore is contributing to the production stream; and it is estimated that the well has produced to date less than 40% of the volume of frac fluid used in the stimulations."
To put Schlumberger's oip and recoverable figures into perspective....a million seconds equates to 11 days. A BILLION seconds equates to 31 years! That's the difference and should hopefully lend some perspective to just how much bloody oil is under panr acreage.GLA
I found this response from olderwiser on the discord channel useful.

"the CTU was effective in clearing most, but not all, of the blockage and flow testing has resumed "
Pondering on this, and I confess it is a bit of a ramble “most but not all” is a bit vague as a percentage, between 51 and 99 technically, common usage would be 60 to 90, as an exercise use the mid points at 75%
If 25% of the diameter of the 4.9” hole is filled with proppant it will still have plenty of room for flow so no consequence in a dead straight pipe. It will not be dead straight but the potential wiggles/traps will be of low arc, so should self flush with flow.
The fact PANR report this implies it is noteworthy, which points to some restriction at the far end. of the horizontal.
A coil tube unit is able to monitor drag/weight in wind back mode, so the operator knows if it is dragging on a sand bed, fully encased in sand or clean steel.
Clean out of proppant becomes increasingly time consuming as progress is made along the horizontal section, as proppant is jetted free at the working face, is now transported over ever greater horizontal distance. Dropout will occur and proppant may also feed in from the reservoir perforations, windback flushing deals with this and ensures the CT does not get stuck/wedged by proppant.
A potential explanation of the most but not all, is the dimishing or stalled return on time and expense to clear the back end of the horizontal, culminated in the decision to pull the coil tube out and get on with flowback operations, with say 75% of the length cleared. There is potential for the remaining to clear naturally with flow, as the flowback progresses, and the pressure difference increases across the assumed back end proppant blockage. Proppant is very permiable so even if packed tight, once there is a driving force, it will still allow a diminished flow through.
Really disappointed lool. Just a measly 1.78 BILLION BARRELS RECOVERABLE
Props to you aswell scot for your relentless fact checking of these morons!
Yes his persistence is very impressive, all he has done is provide facts and nobody wants to get in the ring with him! I think the most annoying thing about this whole saga is that people like telemachus can bring a wealth of information and industry expertise to the table and not move the sp a notch but someone says "it's too good to be true" and we're down 13%. Crazy
I find re reading the operational updates every time I'm feeling slightly nervous helps. "Analysis of the logging while drilling (LWD) and gas chromatograph readings indicate that the improved reservoir parameters encountered in the vertical pilot hole have continued or improved in the horizontal well bore."

Lol if we get anywhere near 100bopd every 6ft I think we can all order our yachts now hahaha
Although the timing of this will scare people, it reads to me like they are simply locking in a nice bonus, and they haven't started flow testing yet so this isn't connected to any impending bad resul
My £19k buy at 4.34p this morning around 9.30 showed up as a sell. I'm glad to be back in here hopefully we get some great results later this year!
Explain the 25% share price drop the day before the rns.... crooks
What delay lol
Gazza I wasn't making any comparison between the two companies merely highlighting what happened there to illustrate the dangers of looking too much into tweets at this time
Rt the reason I pointed that out was because something similar happened to he1 investors during drilling regarding tweets and looking positive at a crucial time so it was a relevant reply regarding the previous comment
Tell that to helium one investors lol
"and likely exceeds, its pre-drill resource estimates of 1.2 billion barrels of oil (recoverable). "
We have confirmed in an rns that the problem at theta west has been resolved and we are testing the 'big kahuna' and somehow we drop 10%. Give me strength whoever is selling of the back of talitha results ( lack of) needs their head examined
Or maybe scot should brush up on his people skills. Regardless of how knowledgeable he may be nobody is going to take in any of his clearly valuable advice/opinions if he is constantly addressing people in a condescending manner and rubbing people up the wrong way.
