Sorry to pernickety but none of us know how big Cascadura is, because the company has decided not to commission an independent evaluation at this time but the NGC and the RH Mr Young probably have a better idea. Which is kinda ironic I wonder if he’s a share holder.

Thanks for your input MJ however my Cascadura question was relevant to the quoted dates for pipe construction and testing nov 21 /Dec22 that’s 13 months for a 1.6km pipeline ( I know you’ll probably say sounds about right for that lot). If the NGC have allowed themselves until dec22 not much chance of seeing any gas in the trunkline in 22 hence my comment “ must be a typo” implying that they meant Dec 21?

I’m a relative newcomer here compared to some ( sept 19 ahead of Coho). Firstly, ref ngc Cascadura project the Dec 22 has to be a typo doesn’t it?
However the thing that’s confused me is yesterday’s talk by PB where he states that the 1350 bpd oil come from just seven wells, I remember watching a early presentation ( for me) where PB said the wells come online at 100/150 bpd and recently Lex quipped at a 100 bpd and back in 2019 we were close to 2000 bpd. Have they abandoned the non producers? Was there only ever seven? 1350 divided by seven equals 192 and there’re old , 2000 /7 equals close to 300.
The question I have for anyone who has the inclination is what should I expect from the current four drills at our legacy fields

I’m not suggesting this is not a great share to be in merely that some may think there are big profits coming with companies currently producing gas.
As for the post that’s disappeared I’m not that interested in oil now it’s going to be last man standing in that market sooner than many realise, but guess whose going to be last man standing ( much further into the future) in the gas business.

Well, just maybe if there’s no contingency in our gas contract the NGC are going to be making a lot of dosh out of us. And investors tend to focus on the sectors they know some could be moving funds elsewhere.

Scott,perhaps you could enlighten me as you talk much of someone drilling long horizontal wells and suggest it for the cruise at Chinook, would this not be applicable to the legacy drilling. Correct me if wrong but aren’t they ( approximately) 180ft intercepts which produce at between 100/150 bpd initially. Now we have a rig( team) capable of horizontal wells why wouldn’t this be a plan? As quadrupling production from these wells would certainly advance development at Cascadura. Possibly not having to wait for funds (April 22) from first gas at Cascadura to start infrastructure work post permits (Jan 22).

OH, and let’s not forget Royston if that tests ok( there’s definitely gas there it’s just wether it flows and is commercial) the drill bits shouldn’t have time cool down.

Interesting indeed David but what of Coora I’m sure some of the delays around Coho focused on a test there as that would be a relatively quick connection like Coho :-).

Absolutely right Smasher, but this means the drop off will be slower, the production plateau will be maintained for longer. A good friend of mine call J Thomas told me not to worry so I bought some more.

Tbh people I see many posts From genuine lth here, who cares, it’s close enough to be a worked buy but if it’s a sell then it’s a sell the price has been low enough for someone to make a decent profit. If you think that the prospects of this company are enormously greater than the current mcap then it’s of little consequence as is the daily churning of the sp. GLA.

Scott, appreciate your posts, well informed and factual however it’s my opinion that Cascadura is already in excess of . 5 TCF and will eventually be proven at 1TCF or more, my reasoning:;independently evaluated at 45boe from st1 drill. It was clearly documented that the evaluation only included 177 ft from the deeper section which we now know extends to 442ft, assuming that it originally accounted for half the reserves that increases the total to76 boe not withstanding the upper strata ( 345ft of 600 tested) which is much slimmer was classified as unbounded and has now been intersected by the c/deep drill.
Cascadura deep is a minimum of 400ft deep and 3000ft in diameter, this is less certain as we don’t have the temperature or porosity but the pressure is middle 4000 psi and flow rates from a slightly damaged bore of 25 mmcfpd. this could easily equate to another 30or40 boe making Cascadura .6 TCF HENCE Paul most recent comment “ the market doesn’t appreciate how big it is”.
