RE: ENQ and North Sea Deal.5 Feb 2021 11:56
Delays can be read any which way, but as Tony has pointed out it's usually resulted with bad news coming from these guys. Let's hope this time will be the start of +ve late news. Let's also hope they recognize it's better to get bad news out early if they're going to back out on promises (divi payment, f/o deal falling over etc), or miss the financials they've provided to the market. No point compounding the problems by releasing negative news late. Something indeed could be afoot. But then again the delay could be down to them not having a grasp on what they've bought, or they could be trying to find something positive to release with missing their primary deliverables. Or they could of course be about to make an acquisition, which may / may not include more massive dilution of PIs who they haven't shown any real concern about to date. Take your pick. I simply want an update. I see no reason why they cannot release what they've got, and make more releases over the coming weeks e.g. f/o, acquisition etc. This is why I think they may not have a solid understanding of the assets, which is why fcf and divi news are overdue.
