in the grand scheme of things Dumb-it already is,and I wondered when I first heard of the Myanmar scenario,and I said was it China trying to protect one of the only holds they have over the West- The people of Myanmar seem to think that China are involved , so this might well this might come back and bite them in the a r s e. And in the meantme if they wouldn't mind shelling out some compensation to the world for Chinavirus I would be deeply appreciative.

I agree with almost all of that Kully-bit I think we have a deal whatever the new info/drills may bring, the only variant at the moment is how much they are willing to commit-option A for deal with existing info and B for more proof shown-BTW ,I think option A would still be a game changer-NvS is playing hardball ,as I'm sure they are and as you say they need to justify the money to shareholders-the recent raise I see as "belt and braces" so that we can meet their requirements and do not deplete our reserves,and so don't risk the (SXX type) slippery slope of debt.

P.S. shame they didn't bloody say it when we already had the drill rigs turning !

For me it's as you say Kully-someone is double checking DW's assessment (in order to get final approval from their BoD,) and NvS may well have been given offers that aren't high enough so they've said in order to meet that figure we want to be further assured. It would tickle me if the grades discovered are breathtaking and the NvS price goes up further-but I guess both sides will risk that

Through all of the rubbish that one reads on various boards,and seeing the people who go into frenzied panic, and those that enjoy a bit of misery as soon as there is the slightest hiccup-it has been a pleasure to see some familiar names take a sensible. measured and long term investing approach (for and against) to the recent scenario.The problem with forums ( is as it is in life) the idiots tend to get attention and remembered-thank you for some calm and logical postings. FWIW-if you remember the IC, NvS said that he had just been discussing that morning something that had just that morning,turned up.If that opportunity turned out to be an opportunity too good to miss, but needed to be done immediately for a price,then everyone here would say go for it.If he cannot convey the terms until the deal is signed then I'm sure we would also say OK. I know we will be told what transpired and I'm not selling a thing as the fundamentals here are sound and we have just added another cheap asset in a copper frenzy.

And then maybe easily have avoided the Arc subject The issue I feel probably goes a lot deeper, as it was Meyer who rubbished a PEA recently by another company linked to two of our directors NvS,BMc (sp dipped and came back)-But even if Meyer/SPA have been "moved on",any prospective future client of theirs would not like to see that as a final outcome if they were to part company.
