..... Hello COdey !..... I appreciate your reply and good, valid points made... Of course, as with most shares a trading policy on selling at higher SP and buying on the dips is usually the best policy... I already do this on some others and had mixed outcomes... However, with MAFL I am more interested in a year or two down the line and don't mind fluctuating SP, whether trading it or not ... My reason for asking opinions for POSSIBLE valuation of LS is if it is what I suspect; a LARGE, multi million pound project, then as time goes by we might get one of the bigger miners tempted to buy us and Ascendent out before any kind of production, as further drilling may indicate enormous resource... If there is just s 10%chance of this happening, then I would sooner be all-in, rather than half out at any time.. ..Ascendant SP has been hammered recently and MAY have an adverse affect on their financing drilling and further payments due to MAFL..It is a fair assumption that this must already be on the radar of other companies as the potential becomes more evident... ..Also, we have possible news on CAP energy sometime this year, which MIGHT also have an astounding effect on our NAV.... My thoughts may be a little dreamy, but certainly not unrealistic !
Have been invested here for over 3 years and happy to stay for the ride, perhaps adding more along the way... We have a possible/probable 100 million ton resourse for the whole of Lagoa Salgada and 20% free carry to a likely working mine... Might anyone care to have a stab at what this could be worth to MAFL, assuming modest commodity prices and realistic returns, either as a sell-on price or annual profits .. Am quite capable with maths, but even having read the PEA am unsure how to evaluate its potential worth .. Maybe a comparison to other similar working mines would be a good barometer ? Any ideas ? ..
........ Many Thanks !
Steven... Your recent post regarding Namibia having closed some borders may be valid, but i cannot yet find any indication that imports and exports are affected, more relevant to people rather than goods... Either way, this announcement has only just been declared in recent days, and will not be reflected in imminent results.... IF it will impact on any income for a period of few weeks or months even, I am sure Larry would cut cloth accordingly, perhaps even suspending drilling for an indefinite period, .... You never know, we might get a DETAILED update to reveal any necessary steps needed for the short/ medium term and reassure us all is still going to plan.... .. Wouldn't that be nice ??!!
..... Can't help but note since March 2 .......
Approx total sales ......3,600,000
Approx total buys ...... 700,000
TOTAL NETT SALES.... 2,900,000.... LESS than 1% shares sold
During this time SP down approx................... 50 %
Whilst I have never posted negatives on here and have only tended to look at the potential, which if realised should be very rewarding....I also have no doubts that Larry has a strategy that may well deliver...However, I have written to him just 2 days ago and whilst acknowledging certain information cannot be revealed because of the NDAs there is plenty that can and with the current unprecedented situation facing everyone, NOW is the time to give us a clearer picture and show to us EXACTLY why his excitement should be shared with the loyal investors still holding on...
Island Girl.... Re your message, may I suggest you see my post of 4 March... Might give you an idea on the rate of cash burn, but obviously does not show any income from the trading Arm, which must be enough to more than cover currently drilling .... Interims very soon which should show cash at Dec31 and end of March....
Whilst our SP only suggestts a car crash, it should be good to reflect on 2019 and focus on some of the fundamentals, especially the use of funds....
31/12/18.............. Cash 500k
25/03/19...............Placing 450k Nett
29/03/19...............Cash 720k
30/06/19...............Cash 484k
27/08/19...............Placing 360k Nett
31/12/19................Cash ?????...Hopefully revealed end March Interims...
Approx 100k per month outgoings...
Appears to be a very prudent use of money, considering all of the drilling, 2km pipework, storage tanks, pumps, meters. upgrades AND wages !......Cash also in hand for next phase of drilling ....
If the JV interview was on 1st August, when the price was 9p, then the NAV would now have to be OVER 16p..Simple maths, I know, but well ahead of the last quarterly update... Great work from JV and his team !
Hi Funky and others !..... Have just heard back from Finn Cap brokers and unfortunately the figures of 20-30 ton are for the Quarter....It was a typo error, but am amazed that it had not been amended over the past 6 months......I sincerely hope that this has not made anyone invest more than they might otherwise have done, although I know that two of you had bought this morning... My biggest apology must go to Funky, even though I know that he has been topping up whenever possible anyway.... This certainly will make me more cautious of any future posting, as misinformation is unforgivable, especially in the world of investment .... However, the attraction here is still good for me and very hopeful that the coming weeks will bring us the news that should finally give the SP a big upward lift.....
.... Sincerely, Freddy...
...Funky and all other investors...Have posted that information entirely on good faith and with no intention to mislead or deceive...Have spoken to the broker who has been out to the mine and we unaware of this interview...He says to only go with RNS, but when you see stuff written like this in Larry's name you naturally assume it's correct or amended within a day or two... Still waiting for reply .....
...Hi Funky !....Nice to see you thinking of your missus !! )))... All you need to do is Google Larry Johnson Kazera interview and scroll down below the pro active videos...Click on asianmetals interview...It's the last of about 10 questions....
.... Hello pranch !.... Well, it's there in black and white, although I do wonder why he hasn't mentioned it in any video interviews with proactive investor; at least I'm not aware that he has.... Maybe that total would also include lithium, but even 15 tons of just Tantalum would make the mine highly lucrative....
.... I was under the impression that we would be capable of producing about 30 tons tantalum per quarter.... However, it supposedly is much more than this.... if you Google Larry Johnson Kazera interview with Asian Metals (26/11/2018 ) his last words are " after the Orange Pioeline is installed that look to take up to a year. The capability of the current plant is between 20-30 tpm..!!
.... Last results showed Cash of about 2.5 million pounds... Would anyone care to guess if that has held up or maybe even increased since Dec 2017 ?!..... We already know several Tantalum shipments have gone to customer and I wonder if the extensive drilling ( obviously expensive ) and operational costs since then have made a big dent on our cash or the income from the Tantalum has more than covered our outgoings... If this is positive then maybe further production should help finance the Orange River pipeline or is that too much to ask for and a placing may be inevitable ?.... Of course this would all be guesswork, but this is what we are all left to do on here on a regular basis, is it not ?!... Would be grateful for any input from others on any aspects of this ....
