The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Chaps, let’s see if nightyard has the moral worth to stay off this group. He caused much of the ill feeling over the weekend, then had to say goodbye twice, because his fans missed it the first time.
I’ll miss wheremymoneygone, but nobody will miss the bi-polar nightyard.
Enough already, less than 2 hours before it starts!
We’re all just adding, for what could be a good ax as bonus! With this company they stretch the news out every time there is any!
This fat little pudding is fast becoming Cinderella at the ball, potentially with unfriendly suitors.
This is going to get interesting, especially if it’s a take-over by an EU company.
Seems Stockready is not on the ball tonight.

To check, you need to add a new guess by start of play, or you’ll be on the subs bench for the week, along with the Night Garden, who was misbehaving earlier, but never put a new guess in.

BP ADR...Thu 17:30
BP ADR is climbing, currently 27.77, but I think it will go higher! The pound is weakening if it all stays as is, BP will open £3.28+ And we are on our way!
Whilst I’m generally warm on this stick I am not convinced this is the surge that everyone is ramping.
I’m not a chartist but it’s left plenty of gaps to fill.
I’m not an oil expert, but travel is curtailed still.
I’m not a tamper, but I’m reading lots of armchair posts that this sp will be 400p by Xmas. Not without a step upwards with the yield it won’t, remember that.
Folks, can I apologise to you all for spill over, please.
My tolerance of nay sayers and anti backers is zero. Here we have a comrade, that says Lanka la, but refuses to acknowledge material evidence.
We should ignore cretins, filter the fool.

ZacO, it was released then, not written. It was written last year, using the figures they had back then. Time will tell, but it’s a Bank Holiday and people are driving all over the place. The Q4 dividend will probably be very difficult to ignore more expensive oil then forecast.
ZacO, plans change!
Loony would quickly find himself out of a job if he didn't react to a major shift in profits. All the foundation blocks the board used to make that 'plan' have changed. If they don't redistribute it then what? It sits there making no money, or they pay off more debt, or ramp up the SBB.
Admittedly there probably is a year or 2 left in doing that, but then he needs to show he is a CEO of worth.
Cong, it's a ****ty stock, according to the city mice. They don't like change, and without change this stock will fall to nothing.
I'd forget about the posters that say 350/ 400/500p, lets see about a nice dividend growth later this year. OR a significant debt reduction. Couple either of those to a significant SBB and we'll see this start rising.
I couldn't care less about the SP, the divi is good and reliable...
Jake, pull your pink pants up and behave!
This thread needs differing opinions so we are all at least exposed to the craziness that happens from time to time.
We'll see what way she sorts the books out, like you I'm not too bothered, but I'd prefer the cash so I can move on to the higher divi payers.
Interesting fact, I hear HMRC have recruited hundreds of extra staff to watch for Capital Gains tax avoidance. No idea if they need a warrant to look at stocks in our accounts but worth a thought or two for the big players.
