Don't know how they managed it. I tried several times to purchase £5k blocks without success.

@EWT. The buys are small because they weren't selling much in blocks over £2k worth of shares. I've just topped--up with a number of £2k , £1k and a £3k buys. Sellers always find buyers.

Hi Max, Thanks for replying. A long time ago I lost all my investment funds (and a little more) in a German solar company - IQE. Once bitten, twice shy.

@Max111. You might not want to place all your eggs in the solar basket. Varun Sivaram's "Taming the Sun: Innovations to Harness Solar Energy and Power the Planet" is an enlightening read and spells out a few risks. DYOR.

According to a well known finance publication CHAR are "primed for further share price gains". Admittedly the share price has already doubled since the article was published, but I'm more than happy to wait for the likely offtake agreement and development finance. DYOR.

@DG12. I made a similar, if somewhat less detailed, comment a few weeks ago. Within a few minutes someone commented that they'd reported me for crimes against humanity or some such rubbish.

Unfortunately, the political class in this country give the impression that all that matters to them is complete social control and money. DV appears to offer them neither.

Give it until about 1.15pm and then we'll see. All I know is that my bog standard Halifax account was offering a spread of 1.60 to 3.50 at 11.40am. I thought that was unusual and might indicate that somebody is expecting a significant price increase. That was all.
