With regards to the Tranilast research article, I'm assuming that it relates to 'vanilla' Tranilast rather than the NXP002 variant (please correct me if I am wrong).

If that is the case then Kissei have that opportunity open to them regardless of whether or not they strike a deal with us for NXP002.

The question I have is, does this NLRP3 research actually strengthen any position we would have to strike a deal with Kissei (assuming NFX are talking to them) or would it in fact bring nothing extra to the table other than what we were offering before?

No need to get shirty. I'm merely highlighting the fact that, despite having a promising candidate for a CINV treatment, we don't actually yet have a slice of that $2.6bn pie. Until that deal drops we dont have much to recognise any real value. All we have at the moment is an undisclosed payment from a potential partner who wants to investigate whether or not it can be used for something else...and an unpaid bill.

I don't regard taking an opposing view as being ignorant. Is this a discussion board for investors or is it just a fan club?

If that was true then our MCAP would not be where it is. It's only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it...and nobody is paying for it yet. There is nothing ignorant about recognising that fact.

Personally, I would say no.

It was high risk when I bought in back last year. Since then we have seen a big deal fail to materialise, a boardroom massacre, defaults on payments from China and next to nothing from Ebers. The share price has retreated from a high of 15p back to the IPO price. That decline alone says that the market doesn't believe that the NXP002 deal is still intact.

There are glimmers of hope based on recent statements about Covid potential but until we get some firm news then they are nothing but glimmers. If they leave it much later then any opportunities afforded by the pandemic might be lost Once a vaccine is released, then the spotlight on the virus might start to weaken and interest might fade.

I will continue to hold because I'm currently under water and have little more to lose but I would definitely put any more in at this point.

If they can get a CEO in and release further details about plans and timescales in the next 3 weeks or so then I might start to feel differently.

Speaking of Yatai/NewSummit, I wonder if their links with Benchmark Botanics in Canads will lead to some kind of relationship with Ebers too. Didn't DT have connections with people at Yatai/Newsummit?

The RNS stated that a new CEO was essential to the acceleration process that they want to achieve. They've already had nearly 4 months to find someone. A key test for me personally as to whether of not this all just more blather is how quickly they can now fill that post.

One would hope that someone is already lined up for the job. The fact that they have done a placing now means that they are not expecting any big deals with chunky up-front payments to land in the very near term (otherwise they wouldn't need the money).

I remain cautious with my expectations for the next few months. It's time they made good on their promises of delivering shareholder value. They've messed us about too much this past year.
