I do hope that's not the case though as it would show a complete lack of transparency which would suggest that that some of the old management culture is still alive and kicking.

They might already know the outcome, Filter. They might not want us to know though.

We won't know for sure until the winners are published by Innovate themselves.

I think it's safe that you shouldn't build any expectations on anything that was said by the old board. I think the COVID link was just another carrot that was dangled to try and distract shareholders from the bizarre and unexplained goings on in the boardroom.

I don't think that the new board have mentioned COVID once, as far as I can tell.

I am most interested in the 18m TR1 coming to light. Would love to see whether its a buy or sell. Not sure if there will be any impact either way now. If it was a 'statement' buy then I would have expected to see the TR1 ASAP.

Oxilio: I'm expecting very little of value. It was a nice little carrot to dangle to pacify/entice investors but I don't think its going to give us much of an upfront or great milestones for that matter. We already know the royalties are nothing special.

Innovate: I'm still hoping they are being held to secrecy until some kind of grant Council winners list is formally published.

Beginning to wonder if any of these NED's do anything other accumulate appointments for themselves.

There should be a 'George Osborne' award issued each year for who can get the most.

In the last update Anne described the NXP002 'discussions' as having a disappointing outcome and that she had appointed a new business development consultant to see if anything could be salvaged.

How have you come to the conclusion that a price has been agreed?

Shame.What would a deal like that have valued us at?

Pity the old guard couldn't reach an agreement with whoever the 'partner' was. They must have been pretty keen about NXP002 in order to keep discussions open for a whole year...unless, of course, they never really did keep discussions open and told the BoD to do one as soon as the leak occurred. However, I'm sure that didn't happen because we were told the discussions were ongoing and deceiving investors on that level would be utterly unthinkable.

I wonder why we never got to find out who they were talking to? Surely it doesn't matter now if those discussions have come to a disappointing conclusion.

If it is a buy then I would be surprised to learn it was someone who we are about to strike a deal with.

I don't dispute that real news is required to justify a sustained rise but if a TR1 was issued showing that a respected institute or individual had bought in then it would, at least, be a signal of confidence..something that has been missing here for sometime.

A sell, on the other, would tell me that someone was still playing games. Why would you choose a figure of just over 3% to sell? Could it be to try and fool the market into thinking it was a buy to draw in the punters and push the price up further and make it even easier to offload more?

£468k is hell of a punt at this stage.

If someone is looking to make a spectacular stage entrance then late Friday afternoon is a good time for a TR1...wow your audience and then let them simmer over the weekend.

The fact that it was just over 3% may yet be evidence of a symbolic buy. Its just enough to get across the notification threshold if you're a new buyer. Not sure why any of the remaining holders would dump so much in one go and risk trashing the sp. If DT was already below 3% then it can't be him as its too big a trade

Perhaps someone does want to make their presence known. Should find out soon enough

Can you imagine the reaction a move like that would make when the TR1 came out?

To be fair, if they felt they had been d**ked around by the leaked press coverage generated under the old guard then it would be the perfect way to exact some sweet cold revenge and make a few bob in the process....especially so close to the first TR1 being issued to tell us that one of the highest ranking individuals in the old BoD had dropped below the notifiable threshold.

The 18m trade is just over 3% of the shares in circulation so it will be notifiable.

As much as I would love for it to be a buy, my gut says it will be a delayed sell. I think the price would have moved much further had it been a buy and there were plenty of sells at that price over the course of the day.

At least we've got rid of some more of the dead wood.

It definitely feels that way Filter. I just hope that the internal politics are not still at play and that JG's appointment to Exvastat will not be followed by a resignation RNS from Nuformix.

Regarding the Innovate grant, it may be the case (as someone mentioned previously) that NFX are waiting for formal publication of the winners by the funding council. I have checked a numbers of websites (just google UK Innovate grant winners 2020) and found that the results only appear to have been last updated on 9th March which is before the notification date of the 26th. Fingers crossed that we may still be in the running for something there.
