Over 6 weeks now since they exercised. They had 6 months prior to that to be organising their finances. You don't embark on a project that substantial without knowing you have the ability to carry it through. Why is it taking so long to finalise?

Is it not simply the case that those who took part in the placing are twitter supremo types who immediately flogged their holdings while their loyal 'flocks' bought in and that those followers are now happily P&Ding those shares over to other easily influenced individuals?

I know some of you might think I'm just having another negative pop at the board again but consider this, we've already seen an instance of someone suddenly leaving the company and moving across to work for a client who we now no longer appear to have a business relationship with. Weve also seen two current NED's take positions up with companies working with lung diseases arena.

I'm not saying there is anything untoward in all of this but how are we, as shareholders, protected if we are unable to judge for ourselves whether or not we are getting a good deal?

If we are we completely protected from any possibility that an unscrupulous individual might offer overly favourable and undisclosed terms to Oxilio now before mysteriously jumping ship and turning up on their board at a later date, then I'm happy.

It changed from being a significant or substantial upfront payment (in the initial rns that reported the deal) to simply being an undisclosed one, followed by another undisclosed payment on finalising the deal.

I don't see how shareholders benefit from this lack of detail. Why is it being hidden? Are all future deals now going to involve undisclosed sums.

Are they going to try and camouflage it in the financial reports too?

If the payments remain undisclosed then the deal cannot be valued properly. That means any move in the shareprice will be baseless and may be quickly eroded by doubt.

The board need to prove that they can add real value, not hide behind undisclosed figures.

Initiation is not really the news we're interested in Kane. I would have hoped that work was already under way to some extent. It is when it finishes that is key (along with any intermediate package completions).

The Innovate grant they applied for was to support projects with terms of 12-18 months so I think we can do the math on how long it's going to take once it gets going.

Unless, of course, the reason they didn't get the grant is because they went back to Innovate and said "actually chaps, I think we're gonna wrap this up in 6"..doubt that very much.

If they came out and told us straight though it might upset the 2%ers. They don't seem to like transparency. I think it interferes with their rinse and repeat cycle too much.

Oxilio news is the only thing we can expect now before the long wait for anything Allenby. Although I'm not expecting anything earth moving it would be nice for them to at least get the rest of the money they need to see NXP002 through to phase 1 readiness...and it would be nice for to be disclosed this time.

Soup, I wouldn't waste your breath. If he really thinks asking questions about how a company is being run is a bad thing and is tantamount to animosity then he is confused.

If he thinks that I am to blame for ex-directors driving a company from 15p a share down to 2p a share and transforming all the deals they said they had to a state that is 'immaterial', to leave and sell down their holdings without explanation, even jump across to work for one of the clients whose business is now lost us...then he is very confused.

I have a significant personal stake in this company. I will fully support and get behind any board that can prove to me that this kind of behaviour is firmly in the past and that they truly have the shareholders interests at heart. Until then, I will continue to ask questions.

I think we all share his frustrations that nothing came of that. Still lots of questions over management here. Why are two NEDs allowed to take positions in companies that appear to be potential competitors? Is this part of a wider plan for collaboration or is it just NED's looking after their own interests or working for 'the greater good of medical science' regardless of how it impacts the shareholders of the companies that they breeze through?

We need transparency.

That might explain the high volume without TR1's, unfortunately.
