It's just one long repetitive pump and dump cycle with this share.

We need a good deal to be announced very soon with Oxilio that doesn't involve us giving everything away to them. If the royalties for a cancer treatment remain at a paltry 2m pa then a sizeable upfront and milestones must be offered to make up for it.

All that's been achieved so far is that they've managed to keep the lights on while we wait for data on NXP002 (although I'm not sure we even have enough cash to see that through).

The NED's should be ok though as two of them now have new appointments with other companies (as if there wasn't enough business development to do here after all other business opportunities suddenly became immaterial).

It's time the LTH's here saw some value, instead of just the chancers.

If it was the 8th April then presumably it wasn't AC closing his position down further after the reporting date. It would surely have been included in yesterday's TR1 otherwise.

That must be someone else who is also slow to report. It can't be Topalczay as he was already below 3% when it happened.

Look at the date of the grant. Its 3 weeks ago. Any RNS would have been issued already.

How foolish of me! In my excitement I failed to notice the grant date: 20/4/21; The board will have known about this from that date.

There will be no RNS.

PS. Why was it filed in Canada and not the UK?

Patents are considered IP/intangible assets and I think they do have to be given a value for the purpose of the balance sheet. The problem is how to value it properly as this can be based on how much revenue it is expected to generate in the future, if any.

With regards to these patents, I'm assuming this is a really important step for whoever might eventually want to take NXP002 forward. They will now have protection against generic copying, which wasn't guaranteed before.

I had always assumed that it was a matter of months rather years to complete the process. I had previously thought that the 'filing' of a patent was the significant bit and that all you had to do was wait a few months for approval or rejection.
Unfortunately, it seems that we are only at the beginning of that timeline for NXP004.

That's a hell of a wait!

Let's hope it doesn't take until 2033 for us to put it to good use :0)

I had no idea that the patent had not been fully granted.

Maybe that could be the catalyst required to rekindle any interest lost under the old guard.

I think it's safe to say that the old board failed everyone, from investors to the new board. They are the ones I suspect are responsible for leaving Anne with very little to work with.

The only one of them I have any respect for now is Joanne Holland. She has remained committed. That respect also goes the other staff who have stayed through thick and thin.

I was disappointed by (and still can't fathom) why Blackwell left in such a hurry. He appears to still be actively linked to Promentra Ltd. I am watching with interest to see what future assignments he takes on.

All I can say is that Anne must be eager to prove herself now. Let's hope she can deliver.

I find it hard to believe that they will not have been fairly confident about financing from the word go. Isn't Ralph Browning an ex-banker with over 25 years experience in that industry? He should have plenty of contacts.

6 weeks is quite a long time for deliberations. Either Anne is wrangling for a better or Oxilio are stalling for other reasons.

How much more would they need to make a reasonable bid for NFX? It might be viable at this ridiculous valuation if it would save them alot of money in the long run.
