News is the key, everything else is just P&D

I thinks it's the time it's taking to finalise that is spooking me now.

It's beginning to take on that very NFX historical trait of "it ain't happening but we ain't telling you", just like the Asian negotiations and the touted UK innovate grant.

The fact that it originated under the watch of the old board only adds to the feeling that it has a diminishing likelihood of coming to fruition with the passage of time.

I was really hoping Anne could at least bag something from Oxilio. It would send a positive message to any larger partners that might be out there to say that we do actually have products that are worth the risk of taking forward.

I have to ask why would an 'accomplished' chartist choose a share with probably one of the most beautiful downtrends on the 3 year chart, to bag £200 going long?

If he was shorting at this level (if that's even possible) then he's more insane.

That's £200 more than I've made here in the last year.

Seriously starting to wonder if Oxilio was just another smokescreen. A carrot mirage, just to help sweeten the placing. How can they not have secured funds by now? They are supposed to have an ex-banker on the board!

I'm not a deramper, as you so wrongly state. I have held since late 2019 and have suffered the miserable decline along with all the other true long term investors here. I do feel a little disappointed at how things have panned out and that's probably why I'm a little too sceptical for some people's taste.

I'm just not very comfortable with the fact that some people seem to be bigging this share up without any real substance, such as news or reasoned opinion. I believe it could actually mislead people into buying at the wrong time and losing their money. I don't really want people to go through that (especially as I know what it feels like to be under water). I'm a nice guy really!

Let me just just stress that by reasoned opinion, I don't mean things like "Seller's out" or "this will multibag". They don't really qualify in my book. Anyway, I often wonder if the people that are quick to accuse me of being a deramper actually hold any shares at all.

Classic P&D is always visible as a sudden, unexpected jump in price followed by alot of twitter BS then a couple of larger than normal (but not exceptional) trades.

Then you get a couple of days where buys and sells are finely balanced as the gullible followers of the P&D crews get sucked in to to help their idols get out at a profit.

After that, no news drops and it all drifts back lower.

Just like a Ponzi scheme.

I wasn't having a pop at you Jiving. As you said, we're both in the same boat.

I'm not clutching at straws either though. The day I think that is the day when I get out. Unless we have been utterly lied to then I still believe in the products. It's the management who have failed to deliver and I would never trust any of the ex-board ever again. However, we have a new board who say they also believe in the potential of these products, so we'll just have to wait and see.

All I was trying to say was that I don't thinks it's wise to put too much sway into price moves without news, especially when the volume is balanced. They usually just end up being another lower high.

I'm not getting excited just yet. Sells volume appears to be fairly close to the buys. I wonder just how many of those who are busy selling today are busy touting an opposite view somewhere else?

Twitter ramp-age is in full force this morning. Probably lot's of panic setting in as the price has now flat-lined and even 2% now looks impossible.

Pretty much negligible volume so far this week. Just hope it heralds a coming change in wind direction rather than a prolonged period in the Doldrums.

I think they key concern for us is that the research document appears to have found that Tranilast inhibits IPF when delivered intravenously.

Does that mean that it is effective enough to use as it is? Where does that leave NXP002? I think it would be helpful for Nuformix to start publicly highlighting how NXP002 distinguishes itself over and above 'vanilla' Tranilast or whatever other repurposed versions of it there are out there.

Maybe but would you bother taking the risk without hearing the patent holder justify exactly why they believe that things have changed enough to overcome old FDA obstacles and warrants new patents.

It's all very well having patent protection in the USA to stop US competition from copying and commercialising our work for the far East market. What I want to know is does Anne have solid plans and belief that it can be accepted and used within the US market itself
