israel has been quietly doing daily running attacks into gaza for the last 6 months, some items get reported by msm, but most ignore it. al jezeera shows a lot. this has been building for a while, as the world is distracted by other global events, people are tired. it was deliberate to cause a provocation within gaza, just not what they expected, now the us is threatening everyone not to interfere, says a lot!

us is ****ed about iran supplying russia with weapons, now n korea is doing the same. once israel feel emboldened it may attack iranian war ships and try to start something, knowing the us naval fleet is in the area. also that us warship just happens to be in sea by egypt?

biden is tanking in the polls, so as per every us president play book, go to war when losing public faith. netanyahu is also tanking in the polls, daily protests about him changing laws, so much for democracy!

Want to know how to stop people pushing up prices of houses? Charge them CGT to 100%, reduce that by 10% per year, so if they sell after 2 years and gains they forfeit and only keep 20%, unless those funds go to directly purchasing their next home. That would tie in people for long term and stop people 'flipping' homes.

Allow first time buyers to 'borrow' from their pension pot to use as collateral as a deposit, that they then have to repay or risk having a very low pension, but it would mean less money mortgaged so less interest to be paid.

So many good ways to allow home ownership, but so many corrupt government officials that nothing will ever be done.

Anyway, the week is over, we did not manage to break the 160 (sorry folks) but hopefully next week eh?

With a bit of luck, change that, with a lot of luck we should climb 3% tomorrow and breach 160.

As for this day, not sure what is going on, with any of it. Stocks rise in the morning to give a sense of optimism, only to nose dive like a kamikaze out to avenge his forefathers. Taking down everything (private investors) in it's path.

Bobbins - thanks, normally I would not have touched day trading, as I have enough IAG. But having just off loaded 90% of my BP stock that I had for over 7 years and added when it dropped massively the last two years I said I would sell the next time it reached 550. Well it got close so I dumped it. Made a lot of profit (but time in the stock, probably diluted the 'wow' factor) anyway, it was sitting there and as I did not hold IAG in that account, thought, why not? I was expecting to make a quick £15-1600 as was not expecting the rise the following morning. In the end I cleared about £4400, not quite the £5k. But better than nothing right?

Banked everything and took out the funds from that account so I don't play with it any further. You know what they say about idle hands and the devil..

So glad to see the UK adopt the US method of shopping, 'take now, pay never'. Such a great way to shop and no stress.

Jeez, the spread of effluent from the west, heading east is fast.

I keep looking at Middle Eastern countries as the next move for me, the further East I can go the better. Wife not so much on board with that though. So I start with the furtherest East and negotiate towards the West! Find middle ground.
