I think debt needs to be level or below annual revenue, once that happens divis should return. We are at least 18-24 months away from that.

I may be wrong, but confidence in a company is got to be when debt levels are 'manageable' if it hits the fan again.

Don't know if anyone else read the article by the CEO of the LSE along with many other signatories that sent a letter to Hunt about the need to push for UK pension funds to actually invest in UK companies rather that US or EU stocks.

There case was was highlighted by the fact that HOTC was 'snapped' up by MARS for over 2.5X there previous day sp. That showed how undervalued UK companies were in comparison. A very valid point in my opinion.

The letter also stated that because of the low sp of the UK companies it would leave them wide open for take over.

It has been over 23 years that this has been happening and more companies are leaving the LSE and heading to the US markets.

I have always maintained that the UK government works for the US and not the UK citizens. They are being exposed more and more by the day, that goes for both current parties.

I thought they had sorted the intake on the engines to deal with volcanic dust since then (ceramic coating or something), or at least not fail mid flight if they flew into the dust.
